I already have Greenworks 24V products, so this was an easy decision. The same battery fits all my other tools, including the 24V stick vacuum! Not everyone needs a big chainsaw (like myself). I had some limbs fall after a storm, and this cut through it like butter. Next time I go camping, I am taking this to cut firewood 🪵My neighbor was showing me his off-brand pruning saw from Amazon, and the quality was terrible (already broken). I let him borrow my Greenworks one, and he has already ordered one for himself 🤗 Do not think twice, buy it, you will not be disappointed

I LOVE this. I have a long pole saw, and that is great when I have to get up to high places. But it's heavy and unwieldy for lower places. I have a chainsaw, which is also great, but I don't need all of that power for smaller things like blackberries and small branches. This is the perfect middle of the road tool. I love that it fits perfectly in my hand and zip, zip, zip, all the annoying stuff is gone. I finally had to stop myself before I started cutting things that didn't need to be cut. Super simple to use, and it seems to work for a long time on a charge.

I set out into the woods with a dream and one tool. Hesitant to trust the Greenworks mini chain saw but with few choices I took a chance. Immediately I found myself face to face with a black bear. We weee both startled and Yogi decided to climb the nearest tree for safety. I never thought of myself as menacing but I was happy to have been the victor. Encouraged by my small win, I decided to use the tool to build a quick cabin for protection should Yogi decide to go on offense. Unsheathing the blade and locking in the battery was a minor thrill. When I pulled the trigger and the blade began to spin I knew I had the advantage. I quickly cut 6” long straight branches, notched and layered them to form a nice 8’ x 8’ cabin. Yogi watched from his perch high above and I’m pretty sure he winked at me. Not one to be taunted I began climbing the tree and using the tool to remove the limbs as went. There was no escape for Yogi. He looked me up and down, sniffed the air and started to climb down the trunk towards me. Loosing my grip, I quickly notched steps into the trunk with the tool and slowly descended what now amounted to a pole instead of a tree. Yogi was so impressed with the Greenworks mini chainsaw that he stopped his descent to watch my retreat. In the end we both knew one thing… the Greenworks mini chain saw is a marvel of a tool.
