I gave this a 4 for a couple of reasons. This mirror will be good for our travel competitions. It’s a good size to place into travel bags and being able to take it apart is also a plus. However, it’s not bright enough for everyday use and wished it had different lighting options. I was highly disappointed in the brightness. I tried with the USB charge and also batteries. Both were the same.

I bought this mirror for trainings/classes, where I wanted something a bit better than just a simple travel mirror. I love that it lights up and there are different magnifications, but my lights are not as bright as they seem like they’re intended to be. It’s great in an already lit space, but if you’re in a space that’s a little dark, this obviously would not be a good replacement for good lighting. The dimming/brightening feature does not work on my light, which is another reason I gave it three stars. Overall, I’d say it’s worth $15-maybe $20, but nothing more than that :)

There is an option for either batteries or a USB charger and even a USB out so you can charge something else at the same time. It's a good mirror, I like that it has a closable front, and it has different mirrors a different x levels. The fact it has LED lights is pretty much irrelevant, they are not bright enough to make any sort of difference regardless of whether you are in the light or the dark. Also once you put that bottom stand on I have no idea how you're going to get it off so be prepared to have that attached for the rest of your life
