In love with my new sewing machine!
I’m so happy I chose to purchase this! It’s so easy to set up and has made all my sewing so much fun! I originally ordered this because I was interested in seeing my own fleece liners for my Guinea pigs and it’s been amazing! I love this machine and would definitely recommend this for everyone!

Awful
I’ve had this for a little over a year and it is the worst thing ever. No matter what tension, length, or width I set this machine too, the stitches skip or get stuck in the machine. I really wanted to learn how to sew a while ago but I gave up with this machine. Just decided to try again today and it made me mad all over again. I wish I could get a different machine.

Great machine for all levels of sewers
Great machine at a great price. This was my first time seeing anything and I made a lovely flannel. Easy to use and thread and all the stitch options were really nice. No issues and would highly recommend.

Worst Machine Brother Has Made
I only use Brother machine for everything, even my serger and embroidery machines. I'm a diehard Brother fan. I have had at least 10 over the years. I recently purchased the GX37, it is the absolute worst machine I have ever owned. It has no power to get through even 4 layers of cotton, it also smells like its burning all the time. I have to stop use for at least an hour after a few hours of use. I'm really unhappy with this machine, unfortunately I can't afford another SM3701 right now.

It's perfect!
I'm learning to sew and I found this sewing machine and it's PERFECT! for a first timer. I am beyond happy about how easy it is so put together and storage away! Also learning all the itching has been so fun, I can't wait to get good at sewing and make my own clothes!

Very easy to use!
Threading this was a breeze compared to an old machine that was a hand me down. Kicking myself for not giving in and getting a new one sooner. The only thing that was a little more confusing to me was the automatic button holes but nothing that couldn’t be worked out on some practice fabric until I got the hang of it. Made Christmas dresses for my daughters.

Christmas gift for granddaughter
Puchased this sewing machine for my granddaughter who is just learning to sew. The look on her face when she sewed her first line was priceless. She was so happy. This sewing machine is very easy to use. Great instructions. I highly recommend it.
