This morning Target announced that their stores will be opening at 6am on Black Friday this year. While Target starts their Black Friday sale on Sunday, November 24th they will have "twice as many" Black Friday weekend-only deals as last year. Black Friday is also the first day to get their exclusive Taylor Swift book, vinyl and CD.
Target also announced extended shopping hours for the rest of the holiday season. Starting on Saturday, November 30th, most Target stores will be open from 7am to midnight every day through December 23rd. Check your local Target's hours on Target.com to confirm but most stores will have the extended hours.
This sale ad from Dollar General is for the 3 days from Thanksgiving Day through Saturday the 30th. There are some one-day-only deals in the ad as well.

We know many of you have been waiting for this: Walmart has revealed many of the deals that will be in their first Black Friday sale. You can check out the deal preview on Walmart's site or we've posted 60 screenshots here which, sadly, is as close to a traditional Walmart Black Friday ad as we get anymore.
Walmart says they will add additional deals to the preview every day until the sale starts. Walmart's first Black Friday sale starts online on Monday the 11th at noon EST for Walmart+ members and 5pm EST for everyone else. The deals will be available in stores on November 15th starting at 6am local time.

Big news as we have just added this year's Kohl's Black Friday ad to our collection of leaked Black Friday ads. Kohl's is starting their Black Friday sale on Sunday, November 24th. Browse the 40-page ad scan here. The ad features doorbusters valid on Thanksgiving Day (online) & Black Friday (online and in stores) only on pages 24 and 25.
As always, Kohl's will be offering $15 in Kohl's Cash with every $50 spent during the entire sale. This Kohl's Cash will be redeemable starting November 30. New this year Kohl's has a Black Friday Sweepstakes promotion in stores on Black Friday during which the first 200 customers will win Kohl's Cash or prizes.
Home Depot is kicking off their Black Friday deals and to help you prepare for the deals we've posted their 28-page November Black Friday Savings ad. The deals in this ad technically start tomorrow (but most are available today) and run through Wednesday, November 27th.
Based on the previous few years, Home Depot will likely put out another ad for the week of Black Friday which will supplement these deals with additional savings including many in-store only deals, however you should expect the deals in this ad to be available through Black Friday despite the 11/27 end date displayed.
As we predicted, Kohl's has officially announced their annual Black Friday Early Access Sale which will take place from Friday through Sunday of this week. Check out the 13-page ad scan for this sale to get a preview of some of the deals that will be available.

This morning Target announced their plans for the first part of the holiday shopping season. New this year, Target will have a 3-day Early Black Friday Sale from November 7th through the 9th with deals on "new and trending items for gifting and gathering, apparel, accessories, toys, kitchen, floorcare, holiday decor and bedding and more."
Target will also bring back their popular Deals of the Day starting on November 1st. Find new specials every day until Christmas Eve. Starting this Sunday Target will also launch new weeklong deals each week via their weekly ad which we post every week here on the site. Target's Holiday Price Match Guarantee also starts November 7th this year.

Today marks the one month mark in the countdown to Black Friday. It's still early but so far this year we're seeing fewer Black Friday announcements and ads, likely due to Black Friday falling later in the month this year. We only have a few ads posted although we at least have some firm dates for several other retailers' Black Friday sales.
Unfortunately, retailers are moving away from physical ads, and in some cases away from digital versions of ads as well. Last year stores such as Walmart and Best Buy once again just posted deals on their site instead of having a traditional ad layout, whether that be paper or digital. Expect more of that this year.

Walmart has announced their Black Friday plans for this year and they are very similar to last year. Walmart will once again have 2 separate "Black Friday Deals" events this November. You can check out Walmart's full announcement press release here.
The first event will start online on Monday, November 11th at 5pm EST (12pm EST for Walmart+ members) and in stores on Friday, November 15th. The second event starts online on Monday, November 25th at 5pm EST (12pm EST for Walmart+ members) and in stores on Black Friday, November 29th.
You can check out a preview of some of the deals in the first sale here and we expect a larger preview any day now. Walmart+ members will get 5 hours of early access to each sale and Walmart is offering a year of Walmart+ for half off ($49 for a year) starting today.

Target currently has a Target Circle offer for an extra 25% off any one toy or kids' book through November 16th. This offer can be used on many of the toys in Target's catalog, although some brands such as LEGO are excluded.

As was the case in Amazon's toy catalog there are no prices listed. Instead Amazon invites you to check out their dedicated Gift Guide Hub for all the items featured in the catalog and thousands more.
Best Buy has announced their Black Friday and Cyber Monday plans for this year. First of all, Best Buy will drop new limited time Black Friday doorbusters every Friday starting on November 8th. Plus and Total members will get early access to these deals the day before starting on Thursday, November 7th.
Best Buy will also start their "Black Friday Deals Right Now" sale on November 8th. This sale will contain a selection of deals from their sale. Their full Black Friday sale runs from Thursday, November 21st through the 30th with their Cyber Monday sale starting the following day on Sunday, December 1st.

As always, Costco includes their Black Friday sale as part of a bigger Holiday Savings book. When viewing the ad, note that page 23 features online-only Thanksgiving Day deals and the Black Friday weekend deals start on page 24.
The beginning of this ad features additional sets of deals valid November 1st through November 17th, as well as November 18th through the December 2nd. Page 31 features online-only Cyber Monday deals. Costco will once again be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
As promised in our last Sam's Club post, we have 2 new ads from Sam's Club for you to check out. First is the 42-page November Instant Savings book. This is Sam's Club's traditional monthly sale ad and runs from October 30th through December 1st.
Next is the 10-page November Doorbusters ad. This is a 3-day sale which runs from Friday, November 1st through Sunday, November 3rd. While this sale is both online and in clubs, there are some deals labeled online-only.
Sam's Club has revealed their schedule of sales for the rest of the year. The deals kick off October 30th with their monthly Instant Savings. From November 1st through the 3rd they will have "November Doorbusters" in store and online. There will be online-only weekend doorbusters the following 3 weekends.
Thanksgiving Day (November 28th) starts their popular annual Black Friday sale which will take place through the Sunday the 1st, followed by a 2-day Cyber Monday sale on the 1st and 2nd of December.
December 4th through the 26th will see another Instant Savings sale. There will be a 3-day "December Doorbusters" sale on December 6th through the 8th. Expect the Sam's Club holiday catalog to be posted here on the site imminently.
This morning JCPenney made several Black Friday related announcements. Perhaps most exciting to our visitors is the return of their classic snow globes in stores on Black Friday. JCPenney says the snow globe will feature "one of the holiday's most cherished movie characters."
JCPenney also announced a Black Friday early access sale from November 8th through the 10th and their actual Black Friday sale starting on November 22nd. They will have exclusive one-day-only deals in store on Black Friday along with giveaways for in-store shoppers. Get all the details by reading the press release.
