Check the Box for Tampering - These were "New"?
****Update 9-22-20****I got these earbuds and I believed I was getting a legitimate "New" pair of Klipsch T5 buds. I figured that they were cheap because of the recently released T5 II buds and Klipsch was blowing out inventory. However, I contacted Klipsch wanting to verify the product registration for warranty purposes. Klipsch said that the warranty would only be extended if purchased from authorized resellers of Klipsch products. I believed I was purchasing through a authorized seller. The order was purchased from Amazing Deals Online fulfilled by Amazon. The retailer is not a authorized reseller of Klipsch products so people are buying at their own risk and will have not warranty support by Klipsch. I have a transcript of my chat with Klipsch tech support and I am very glad I contacted them.I set up a return of the T5 buds purchased on Amazon and purchased a pair of T5 earbuds from Costco, a authorized reseller, and my experience with the earbuds has been night and day.Starting with the box. The legitimate "new" box had the original Klipsch UPC sticker. The box I received from Amazon through Amazing Deals Online had a printed UPC sticker so I peeled up the sicker and what I saw infuriated me! The original Klipsch factory sticker had been removed and a printed UPC sticker had been placed where the original had been. The pair I received was a "grey" market or refurbished product at best in my opinion. The second difference between the buds that I received and the legitimate buds is the Bluetooth connection. The Amazon T5 buds I received would not keep a connection with the right and left earbud and would cut entirely if I placed my hand over my ear and bud. The legitimate T5 do not do this and hold the connection very well and I have not experienced one drop out from either the right or left earbud and I can place my hand over the buds without them cutting out. Another difference was the microphones and call audio quality it was slightly muffled and the legitimate pair of earbuds provide a better sounding call quality. The final and most important difference is in the overall sound quality of the Klipsch T5 I received from Amazon and the legitimate T5 buds sound better hands down.Check your boxes people! I am very thankful for the Amazon return policy.Final Thoughts, if one is willing to take the risk and toss the dice on these buds, go for it. I was not. They are a amazing set of earbuds if you get a pair from a Authorized seller of Klipsch products. Costco sells them for $99 bucks.Review of Klipsch T5 Wireless earbuds purchased on Amazon.com -I was looking for a pair of earbuds that I sounded good that I could run/work out with and be a backup to my Sony WF-1000XM3 earbuds. I got sick of my current backup Soundcore Liberty Pro 2 earbuds. The constant background hiss and lack being able to switch devices easily finally got to me. When I saw the price drop of the Klipsch T5 earbuds, I purchased them.Sound quality - First and foremost, to get the most out of these earbuds, one has to have the proper fit as it is with all earbud or in ear designs. For ME, I find the sound profile of the T5 buds to have a balanced and warm sound profile with a emphasis in the mids to upper end with very good clarity and separation. They do have bass but it is not in your face like many earbuds on the market. This makes vocals and dialogue clear and the bass is also clear but does not get in the way and it is a real treat. I downloaded the Klipsch connect app and was able to update to the current firmware without issue and the app has a EQ that can be adjusted. Or one can download a separate EQ app if one so choses.Battery Life - The buds do go the distance with 8 hours of listening and the case provides 2 charges. This beats out the Sony 1000XM3. I wore the Klipsch T5 all day working from home and my ears did not hurt or feel fatigued.Fit- I was happy to discover that I find the Klipsch T5 buds to be very comfortable with the proprietary tips Klipsch has designed. This is both a blessing and a curse. If one wants to find aftermarket tips, it is going to be hard because the tips are a gel type attached to a plastic center that snaps onto the buds and only three sizes come in the package. The earbuds are designed to extend into the ear canal pretty far and with the shape of the tip, oval, and how deep it sits in the ear, once you get them in, they are very secure and do not hurt. I can run and they don't budge and I would say they provide excellent noise isolation.Bluetooth Connection - Better with Firmware updates but not that great. Out of the box, I paired them and started listening in bed. I noticed a few connection issues between the right and left earbud. The T5 connection is set up were one earbud connects to a device and then the other earbud connects to the other earbud not the device. What sets the T5 apart from other earbuds that have this type of connection is that either earbud can be a main bud for the combination. This is what worked for me. For the initial paring, I paired the right earbud, when I did this, my phone asked to pair with the left. I hit ok so both are paired. When both were connected, I placed them in the case. This turns off the earbuds. Then I removed one earbud and it automatically paired with my phone. I then took the second earbud out of the case and it then paired to the right. With this, I still had some connectivity issues and I don't know what was happening but it was only a couple times and not constant. In spite of peoples experiences with problems with the app and updating firmware, I chose to update. The app is not great and that is being generous but it is the only way to update the firmware to the headphones. I was scared though the entire process but I managed to update the firmware of both Left and Right Separately. After the update, the connection between the right and left earbud seem to be LOADS better. I still have to carry my phone in the right pocket if my right earbud has the primary connection but sitting at my desk, I had the phone on the left side of the desk and paired to the right earbud and I did not encounter one drop outs and I can walk about the stated 30 feet away before the connection starts to break up.Pairing Multiple Devices. Turn off Bluetooth on the paired device and tap the saved connection on the device one wants to connect to and it switches. No need to re-pair the buds.I also like the physical buttons on the earbuds. I have learned to pinch the edges of the earbuds with my thumb and middle finger to press the buttons on the earbuds. The Sony WF1000XM3 sometimes register too many touches or not enough so I like the T5 Buttons.-Final NoteBuy from a Authorized reseller of Klipsch products. While the buds I received from Amazon did not sound "bad" the original "new" Klipsch T5 wireless buds sound even better and have better Bluetooth connections, and call quality and since Costco is a authorized reseller, I have the Klipsch 2 year warranty.

I love me some Klipsch, but was mildly hesitant to buy these as I've noticed more than one person complaining about connection issues. But then they rolled out the blacked-out version and put them on sale for $149. Couldn't resist! This is my first pair of true wireless earbuds and I wanted something with better sound quality than the white bones sticking out of everyone's ears now-and-days. To put it plainly, these are bomb and you should buy them now.

SOUND: Crystal clear and balanced with punchy but not overbearing bass. Absolutely impressed and exactly what I expected from Klipsch.

FIT: I popped these into my ears right out of the box with the default foam thingies. Fit was perfect and they don't seem to have any desire to slip out. No complaints here.

CONNECTION: To be clear, I've been using these mostly while sitting in a cubicle at work all day with my phone placed on the desk. I have experienced zero drops in connection. However, I will say that the connection dropped once when I was walking around with my phone in my pocket at home. But when I say "drop", I mean the sound cut out for one second and then returned so make of that what you will. But so far, it looks like any connection drops you might experience would be infrequent enough to not matter and probably in-line with the competition.

PAIRING: The Digital Trends review for these says pairing can be tricky... um, you hold the primary buttons on each earbud for three seconds and then select either earbud on your Bluetooth list and you're done. What do you people want??

LOOK & FEEL: Blacked-out earbuds with a slick stainless steel all-black 'Zippo' case. No doubt, these look badass.

BATTERY: The buds got 8 hours of life and the case provides an extra 24 hours. That's about as good as it gets!

CALL QUALITY: I've taken one call in these from my mom. I didn't ask her directly how I sounded but she never complained about being unable to hear me or asked me to repeat myself - so I guess they pass? Honestly, I don't really factor in call quality when buying earbuds as I'm rarely talking on the phone.

I really wanted like this product. I did a TON of research before buying. A few other reviews basically had me deciding between this, the Sony 1000XM3 and the Senheiser Momentum’s. Due to price point I figured I would try these first. I was woefully disappointed when I got them paired and in my ears. First thought was- right I have the wrong size tips- so I swapped them to the larger size (that didn’t work so I changed back to the mediums again- definitely the right size for me) I mean ultimately I just couldn’t stop thinking, wait... this is a Klipsch product? The sound profile was just so incredibly empty. I mean The white earbuds that come with your iPhone are a godsend compared to these. The bass was not there unless I jammed them way inside my ears and then smiled. Then and only then did it show up (and it was still weak). Mids were grainy and high end had this almost pixelated feel to it. I felt like I was chewing on pretzels while someone was grinding metal in the background. Not only were they boring but I could stop thinking, why should I keep listening to these when I have other pairs that sound so much nicer. Honestly, I had to force myself to give these things a proper chance.

Next I tried the app. After updating each earpiece (which actually took way longer than I expected), I started with the EQ (thinking that this is what I was missing all along). However after playing with the EQ in depth and listing to multiple genres of music they when right back In their case and up onto eBay.

I have been waiting for wireless headphones to catch up to the wired world and was hoping this would surprise me. It definitely did- just not in the way I was hoping.

    Headphones I own:
    - Bose Quietcomfort 20 wired noise cancelling headphones (the best earbuds I’ve heard to date)
    - Alclair Audio Reference custom IEM’s triple driver wired (never got me the right fit- sound profile never really did it for me- I always found myself reaching for the Bose above due to comfort and sound quality).
    - Status Audio - Structure (love these wireless earbuds- dual driver brilliant full sound - not quite the Bose, but for the lack of wire are my go to earphones). Worth a look and price point is amazing.

    Positives:
    - Beautiful sturdy case
    - Good looking earpiece
    - Lightweight
    - Warranty looks good at 2 years
    - Craftsmanship appears to be quality

    Cons:
    - Poor sound quality - well below expected
    - Adjusting in the ear was challenging to get it to sound its best
    - Clunky app
    - When adjusting in the ear I kept hitting the button

Last thing I will mention here. I’m a huge fan of Klipsh. I have a sub of theirs and absolutely love the brilliance Ana responsiveness behind it. Additionally, I have owned a 7.1 surround sound system of theirs (some years back) and was massively in love with it. It did everything I wanted and more. I mention this because I think it’s important as you read my notes above I had an expectation here that simply just wasn’t met.

    Hope this helps someone.

No he tenido temas de conexión.

The sound from these buds is Clean n clear and doesn't bring any ear strain, so you can use them fr hours. Though the bass is on heavier side.
    However the cons are,
    1. there are no touch buttons.
    2. No noise cancellation present.
3.No equalizers in the Klipsch App, as i wanted to reduce the bass.

Great sound quality, worked great with my apps but lost connection periodically and these buds would not stay in my ears at all, Loved them but not usable at all.

1.0 out of 5 stars Fallo de batería que hace que falle todo
Reviewed in Spain on October 28, 2022

I've been a customer of Klipsch for years, but this purchase was so disappointing. I didn't even have the chance to try the sound, the headset still refused to charge after trying many tips searched in internet.
