Powerful and Fun
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little beast is amazing. I got it to do my google smart home stuff and i also built a cool retro console with the 2nd one i bought. Currently not much support with retro emulation but its coming. I also 3d printed some cool cases for it and it runs super cool with the 40mm fan. I highly suggest ome of these if yoir into simple programming and building fun stuff.

Great deal in a small package!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgrading from a Pi3 this has been immensely more powerful and useful. Playing with small programs and automating things around the house, this is always fun to play with. Looking to power some home automation with this over a touchscreen. Best buy had a great sale on this so thats an additional plus!

Great little SOC for Octoprint
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an Ender 3 and have this guy as my Octoprint server for my Ender 3 3D printer. It works amazing and hasn't given me any problems. I didn't need that much RAM since Octoprint doesn't use that much from the start, so only went with the 2GB model.

Very fast single board computer
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Highly recommended for "single task" users. The 2GB of ram goes fast if you want a desktop environment that does multiple things. If you do a single task at a time, this is perfect. If you want to multitask go for the 4GB or 8GB version.

Great product for learning and teaching.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We used a slightly better version of these for IT boot camps for kids and the kids loved working and programming with them. This version is missing the bread board and micro SIM card, but those are cheap and the instructions to install the free OS are pretty straightforward. With a little time, a mouse, monitor, keyboard, and a SIM card you can have your own mini computer in the palm of your hands.

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just a word of warning. If you're looking to purchase this, I would suggest you add the micro-hdmi if you're planning to plug this into the TV. The USB-C is the intended power supply and don't double as USB-C output. You'll have two micro-HDMI for this.

Q: QuestionAre the heat sinks not assembled onto the appropriate ICs? Will the heat-sink equipped unit fit into the CanaKit 'premium' case?
Asked by KRS03.
- A:Answer The heat sinks are not pre-attached onto the ICs, but it is an easy process to attach then. Tape is already attached to the heat sinks, so it is just a matter of removing the covering from the tape and pressing the heat sink onto the proper IC. I did double-check a picture online to make sure I had them attached to the proper ICs. And once attached they are not very high, so I think they would fit most normal cases.

Q: QuestionDoes it come with an OS out of the box such as Android or Linux or Windows?
Asked by GT.
- A:Answer It does not come with an OS or an SD card, you need to add it yourself. But there are many places you can download a Linux OS for the PI, depending on what you are using it for. Windows does not run on a PI.
