- Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2018Size: 20LColor: BlackVerified PurchaseThis is absolutely the camera bag that I was looking for, and I bet it would also be good for other things. This bag is a great combination of both form and function, I can only hope that the product will hold up over time.
Pros:
- The bag is very stylish. Very sleek looking design, with modern accents. It definitely looks like an expensive bag.
- Chest strap, waist strap (not much of one, but if you need it, you need it), and luggage handle pass through are nice to have.
- Two hidden straps in the pocket on the front of the bag to strap on a coat or tripod if you need to.
- Extremely customizable. I love the way that this bag was designed. It is basically like someone giving you a bucket of Legos and saying, here, do whatever you want with it. They have suggestions of how it can be used on the website, but you really can achieve a lot more if you use your imagination.
- You can access the main portion of the bag from either the left or right side, depending on what you prefer.
- You can unzip the side openings from either the top or bottom, as there are two zipper pulls on each. (great if the Zhiyun Crane or tripod is blocking access to the top side of the pocket)
- While some bags don't have side pockets (for water bottles or tripods) on both sides, this one does.
- There are carry handles on the top, and both sides so that you can carry it in any configuration.
- The top buckle allows the top section to expand to fit more or can be clipped down tightly to hold your stuff when needed.
- All of the extra straps and buckles are removable if you really don't plan to use them
- The velcro shelves can be moved in any orientation and folded in different ways allowing you to be very creative.
Cons:
- The black color that I chose does have a habit of getting scratched, then showing the white marks on the fabric. It's really strange, if I could, I might be inclined to choose another color.
- I wish that the side pockets were a little bigger to accommodate a slightly bigger (wider) tripod.
- As many have said, $250 won't get you a rain cover here.
- I suppose I agree with others who say the straps feel stiff, but I don't think that they are uncomfortable or anything.
Conclusion:
I love this bag. It looks good, but more than that, it can be configured to fit whatever gear I'm carrying. I've included some pictures of one of the setups I've used. It allows me to put my camera in the bag with either an onboard mic or flash attached. I also have my Zhiyun Crane strapped in the side pocket and clipped in with the included strap.
True that you don't get an included rain cover, but I found this one (AYAMAYA Elastic Adjustable Water Rain Proof Backpack Rucksack Cover, Black) to work really well with the 20L bag. It will even go over the Zhiyun Crane and it stows away nicely in the downward facing pocket on the front of the bag.
Be prepared to velcro, and unvelcro the dividers over and over to try and customize your bag. You have totally free reign to turn them at angles and fold them for the perfect fit. I don't feel like I need to make any compromises with this bag, and I can configure it to fit any of my needs making it feel like 10 bags in one.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2018Size: 20LColor: BlackVerified PurchaseWow, this bag really rocks. I must say the black bag design on this is just stunning. It is built so well, and the inside material is so luxurious, it is insane. I almost cannot wait to go to starbucks with this bag.
Laptop space is just enough to get a MacBook Pro 2017 inside the sleeve, I did put a case on the macbook - and it still was able to slide in there - I use the additional space to carry portable batteries for MacBook - and two cables hang out the bag cover top - looks rad.
You can even by one of those cable wraps for cables- and slide that outside the bag- looks like a transformer.
Rest assured, you are going to look good with this bag, and shows that you care about what you are carrying.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2020Size: 20LColor: BlackVerified PurchaseThis backpack does everything it says and more. It's the most amazing camera bag that I've ever owned and I've owned a few over the last ten years. I finally found one that works the best and that's this bag. It can carry so much gear I never would have imagined! We took two of these on an elopement shoot and were able to carry in each bag, two bodies, two lenses including a 70-200, two-three flashes, multiple batteries, a laptop, and ton's of other accessories plus our own personal items. We carried all of this while feeling safe about it not coming unhooked. The safety features are amazing. It is super comfortable even to carry around an air port for hours on end or hike through the woods. They also fit under an air plane seat even stuffed full of gear. It's an amazing camera and I couldn't suggest it more!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2020Size: 20LColor: BlackVerified PurchaseDon't get me wrong this is a great backpack and it looks and feels phenomenal. But you're paying for the brand name and clean finish. It functions exactly as intended and looks great doing it, the only drawbacks are it's price and size/weight. On one side, the liners and fabric are strong and supportive of potentially fragile gear, but because of this it gets very heavy, and fills up quicker than you'd expect. But for an everyday backpack that also houses a lot of neat camera related tricks, it's pretty great.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2020Size: 20LColor: BlackVerified PurchaseI've had a lot of different bags over the years and while most have been good this one stands above the rest. Incredibly well made, versatile, and looks great. I rarely write reviews but I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an everyday backpack, especially if you have camera equipment. Easy access to all your stuff and ton of different configurations depending on what you need each day.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2017Size: 20LColor: BlackVerified PurchaseI love the bag, because it's comfortable, the security latching system allows me to feel confident in public no one is attempting to get into my bag. The storage compartments within are fantastic and finally the bag is just large enough for my fujifilm camera and gear with the addition of small tripods and flash units. If one is carrying a lot of gear or multiple DSLR cameras with lenses this bag may create some issues. The 20L on a larger frame body might feel small as well, so that's something keep in mind. Fits my 15" MacBook Pro much better than the Peak Design Everyday Messenger bag did, as it's easier now to retrieve the laptop from the bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars Calidad suprema, pero pesada y sucia.

5.0 out of 5 stars
Size: 20LColor: BlackVerified Purchase
<重さ>
Endurance EXT
<収納性>

5.0 out of 5 stars Love the over all design and security of the Peak Design 20L backpack.
Size: 20LColor: BlackVerified PurchaseI have only used my Peak Design 20L backpack once, and found it quite easy to carry all my lenses, as long as I kept my long zoom Nikon 200-500 mm on the camera. It is well designed, takes a little getting onto the magnetic fastener system...once I learned to give the fastener a good tug, the latch locked-in and was secure. I am still trying to configure the 20L backpack to maximize and carry all of my lenses. The only lens that is causing me a wee bit of difficulty is the Nikon 200-500 mm...with the lens hood off works just fine. Liking Peak Design products thus far.

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect camera backpack?
Size: 20LColor: BlackVerified PurchaseI have a few of PD's things (Everyday sling, Leash strap) and they're all very impressive. I'm not sure I can even fault this backpack...
It quite easily fits my Fuji X-T2 with 16mm lens attached, plus my 10-24mm, 35mm and 50-140mm, with space left over for batteries, rocket blower, PD strap, etc.).
Yes, it's expensive but you're paying not only for the clever design but for the excellent workmanship...it really does feel that it'll last for years and years.
