PowerPort Cube is compatible with all standard wall outlet voltages worldwide (90V - 264V).
This device can be taken on most cruise ships, but some cruises forbid power strips with extension cords. Please check the guidelines on the cruise operator’s official website before taking it aboard.
Does not support charging for Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers.
The length of the power cord is 5 ft (including the plug).
The power button controls the USB ports, but does not affect the AC outlets.

I buy Anker products almost exclusively. I have thrown so many other chargers and cords in the trash, but Anker products I bought 7-8 years ago are still going strong. This power cube is no exception. It has a nice weight/heft to it which indicates quality, the power outlets are spaced apart so you can plug in any bulky chargers you might have, the USB ports are VERY powerful, and it winds up into a fairly compact package. As you can see in the photos I use it for work. I travel around to several places in my home state and work as a contractor. So it's common for me to need to plug in several things at once. This is perfect for that. It would also be ideal for general travel. It's worth noting that the USB ports are awesome. It charged up my dead flashlight in about 20 minutes while I was at lunch and allowed me to use it for the rest of the afternoon. And it charged my phone from 10% battery to over 50% in about 15 minutes. This is so valuable as someone who is constantly on the move and wears down batteries quickly. My only "complaint" is that I wish it had the option for a longer cord. This one is only 5ft, which isn't bad, but I do also carry a 25' extension cord because I don't always have an outlet that close to where I'm working. That's only a minor inconvenience, though. I'm not taking off any stars for it. I think the 5ft length meets the general need for this device. In a general travel setting you dont need 15' or 25' of cord. I absolutely love this power cube. I bought a second one for vacations and have talked 2 other coworkers into buying one. And at about $20 the price is amazing. With the quality of the Anker name behind it you can't go wrong.

I have to be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect from a sub $20 power strip. In fact, Amazon had a 15% coupon on this at the time so I actually paid less than $17. Having used this for an entire work day, I am impressed so far. First of all, all six outlets worked! I plugged in my monitor and both laptops into the three AC outlets and my AirPod Pro case and iPhone 12 into two of the USB A ports. The AC outlets worked as expected. The charging test on the USB A ports went as follows: AirPod Pro started with a charge at 74% and the iPhone started at 78%. The AirPods were fully charged 32 minutes later. The iPhone took 50 minutes. To me, this is acceptable. I don't plan on using this strip on a day-to-day basis, this will mainly be for travel and I don't require super fast charging from this specific charging device. Regarding heat from use, at no time during the entire day did the power cube ever get even the least bit warm. Regarding the size, I found this item to be the perfect size to throw in my laptop bag for travel. I included a photo for scale against an AirPod Pro case and my 13 inch MacBook. It is a small point, but I was happy to see that the cord comes with an attached velcro wrap to keep the cord organized. Regarding the weight, some have complained in reviews that this cube is too heavy. I did not find that to be the case. The little bit of weight that this cube adds to my bag is not at all noticeable. As I said before, this is a great product at this price point. If this had been twice the price ~$40, I may have given this product 4 stars due to the USB A quick charge speeds that Anker advertises.

I plugged in my monitor and both laptops into the three AC outlets and my AirPod Pro case and iPhone 12 into two of the USB A ports. The AC outlets worked as expected. The charging test on the USB A ports went as follows: AirPod Pro started with a charge at 74% and the iPhone started at 78%. The AirPods were fully charged 32 minutes later. The iPhone took 50 minutes. To me, this is acceptable. I don't plan on using this strip on a day-to-day basis, this will mainly be for travel and I don't require super fast charging from this specific charging device. Regarding heat from use, at no time during the entire day did the power cube ever get even the least bit warm. Regarding the size, I found this item to be the perfect size to throw in my laptop bag for travel. I included a photo for scale against an AirPod Pro case and my 13 inch MacBook. It is a small point, but I was happy to see that the cord comes with an attached velcro wrap to keep the cord organized. Regarding the weight, some have complained in reviews that this cube is too heavy. I did not find that to be the case. The little bit of weight that this cube adds to my bag is not at all noticeable. As I said before, this is a great product at this price point. If this had been twice the price ~$40, I may have given this product 4 stars due to the USB A quick charge speeds that Anker advertises.

I like the idea of this appliance, but my experience has been lack luster.

I received the device at home as I rushed off to a conference, so I didn't have a chance to vet it before I got where I was going. I get to my conference, plug it in, only to find the USB ports provide power, but not the electrical outlets. But I was at a convention table, who knows how reliable the power is... I'll wait until I get back to my hotel... I think to myself. Once back at the hotel I try it on several different outlets. Nope, same result.

So then I go to Anker's website to see if there is any support... nope. This device isn't even listed on their device support items. Which it shouldn't have to be, right? Its a power strip essentially? No fuss needed. So I tried to trigger the reset, by inserting a pin into the hole... that did nothing. So I gave up, and I'm ready to return it.

Bottom line: I think I got a lemon. Which is a bummer because I am an Anker fan. But, now that I'm returning it, I think I will opt for something different, with a little bit of a smaller foot print. But this one is going back, thank you Prime.

Pro's: A convenient and space saving cluster for 3 electrical outlets and 3 usb outlets.

Con's: Its a little big? I was expecting something smaller. I wish the power cord was detachable. And if the bottom of the outlet was weighted, that would be more convenient for stability.

[4 Stars After Customer Service]
After posting my original review, an hour or so later Anker customer support got a hold of me and immediately offered to replace my faulty unit. Kudo's to Anker for being on their toes and getting stuff done.

The replacement unit came a few days later. I tested it out, and guess what... it does what every power strip is supposed to do. It works great, and indeed, I truly had a lemon on my hands. This would be an awesome product, if Anker changed a few things. Like I said before, shrink the size a bit, maybe by 10-20%. Then, make it so the power cable can be removed, this would great for those of us who travel religiously. And finally, add a little weight to the bottom of the device so that it rests better on a tabletop.

There are some good pro's for this device as well. Mostly that experience where you walk into an airport that has some how ignored the fact that everyone needs an outlet... and you walk up to the single available outlet in a 1/4 mile radius, and you offer to share your power with others... totally boosts your ego ;-) It is also nice to consolidate your USB charging needs into one unit, phone, pad, watch (at least for me). One individual said that the device was not suitable to charge an iPad. This was not true in my experience, I have a 10.5" iPad Pro, and it charged this device just fine, along with an iPhone 7+ and Apple Watch. Another reviewer said the blue light was a nuisance at bed when trying to go to sleep. Personally I think the light is so low key and very dim that I did not notice the light at night at all.

All in all, would buy again.
