I loved the Apple leather folio I had for my previous mini. Of course they don’t make it anymore.

This folio is a worthy replacement at a fraction of the price! It’s not leather of course, but I don’t mind that at all. It feels good in the hands and has been extremely durable.

This folio is currently in my girlfriend’s mini. She probably picks it up and flips it open a hundred times a day. It looks as good as the first day we got it (over six months ago). Highly recommended; and for $10.99??!! Do not hesitate to purchase this product!

Very nice case - very pleased! For those wondering, it is almost identical to the cases Apple used to make for iPad's when they produced cases that covered the entire iPad (front and back). Quality is great, and cutouts and magnets are perfect. I appreciate that the front inside cover is lined with a nice soft microfiber material to prevent rubs and scratches on the display from the cover. I was disappointed when Apple stopped making full cases like this, but I'm thrilled I found something nearly identical - and at a fraction of what Apple would charge if they still made something similar. Can't go wrong with this case if you want a minimalist design to prevent everyday wear on your iPad.

It’s going to be hard to argue about the price, but the quality at this price is very good and exceeds my expectations. When searching for a case for any device, I always look for cases that are made out of rubberized, soft touch, or tpu materials. Hard plastics are a huge turn off due to their vulnerability to cracking and scratching both against its own surface as well as the surface of the device itself.

For a case under $20, it was hard to go wrong with this case. The protection and materials seemed sturdy enough to protect my ipad, and all the holes were precisely cut for the camera and microphones. Another feature I always prefer to have, are to have all my buttons covered with built in buttons on the case itself. I am not a big fan of cut outs for the power and volume buttons, and this one has putter buttons that cover them up for further protection.

The biggest surprise of this case is the Smart Cover portion of the tablet. It’s easy to forgive any case to have a cheap flimsy cover, but they didn’t even skimp out on that for this case. The magnets built in are strong as any OEM Smart Cover, and the materials are high quality enough to earn my trust of it to protect my IPad.

In the end, you have nothing to lose with buying this case made by ESR. Everything about it exceeded my expectations, and I almost feel guilty paying so little for it since it literally felt like a steal purchasing this case due to its high quality for such a low price.

I first bought another “leather” case for my iPad mini. It was bulky, made from cheap fake leather and heavy, and the Smart Cover didn’t work most of the time. It was uncomfortable to hold and I didn’t like how it worked as a stand either. I really hated it. I almost didn’t even want to try this case because I assumed any case with a Smart Cover would be as bad as that one.

I was wrong.

This case is awesome. It’s thin. It’s light. It’s easy to hold. The Smart Cover works 100% of the time and closes with a satisfying pull. I even like the folding stand element My only complaints would be that I wish the iPad was just a little more vertical while using the stand, it leans back just a little bit too much for my taste, and that it’s a little bit “bouncy” while touching the screen in stand mode. It also had a rubbery smell when I opened it but it dissipated after a day or so.

Anyway. This case is awesome. Just buy it.

Straight to the point: I like this case. The material is really nice to handle and it is very professional looking. The cutouts are really well made, and the case covers "almost" all the iPad Mini borders, INCLUDING the buttons (a good plus) and the speakers at the bottom (the holes are aligned well with them). The only problem that I discovered when I fit it on the iPad, is that the LEFT part, the one connected to the foldable screen protector, it is in NOT wrapping the iPad...it is not a huge problem when the cover is closed, but when it is open, it exposes the left side to possible damages, especially if the iPad falls from your hands. It is something you cannot really notice from the pictures. I'm still not sure if I'll keep this case or not...but future buyers should be aware of that.

Habe nach einer Hülle als Schutz fürs Ipad Mini 5 gesucht. Ich glaube mit dieser Hülle habe ich es gefunden. Die Hülle schützt das Ipad komplett, anders als das Original welches lediglich das Display schützt.
Der Deckel ist glaube ich magnetisch und hält im geschlossenen Zustand sehr gut. Das Material fühlt sich gut an... nicht billig. Die Rückseite ist aus etwas angerautem Kunststoff und bietet so auch einen guten Halt. Die Aussparung für Kamera und Ladeconnector sind genau passend. Die Tasten sind abgedeckt und funktionieren auch mit Cover ohne Probleme. Dezenter ESR Schriftzug auf der Rückseite und auf der Deckelinnenseite sehen schick aus und lassen das Produkt zusätzlich hochwertig wirken. Bisher bin ich echt zufrieden. Der Versand über Amazon wieder schnell und perfekt.
