I've been looking for some time for an outlet that supported USB-C/Thunderbolt charging and the additional USB-A port is useful too. I bought and installed 3 - no problems of any kind. Please note that these outlets have 3 terminal screws - 1 for black wire, 1 for white wire and 1 for ground wire. Two of my outlets were setup this way and were easy to replace. My 3rd outlet has 2 black, 2 white and 1 ground wire, so I ran a pigtail connection for the 2 black and 2 white wires to get them into one wire each to connect to the terminal screws. If you have an outlet with this configuration of 2 black, 2 white and 1 ground wire you must also run pigtail connections to the terminal screws or use the small holes in the back for 2 black and 2 white push through wire connections. As I did not use the push through connections at all, I can't comment on that. No issues of any kind getting these outlets to work on first try.
I like these enough I may be another one or two in the future to add to my house. One outlet I have connected all the time to an Amazon Echo device and the outlet has worked fine, even allowing a USB charge connection while the Echo is plugged in. Note that these don't support Qualcomm Quick Charge, but I found the charging to be fast enough for my needs. And finally, if you are looking to replace an outlet where the top and bottom plug receptacles are on different circuit breakers, this device won't support that. That kind of setup is a bit unusual and shouldn't be found in most home setups.

Works great with our iPhones and iPads. Charge time seems to be equal to or possibly a little faster than the supplied chargers even when both USB outlets are being used.
Very good build quality. The connections are identical to a normal A/C outlet so it's very easy to install.
As others have mentioned it does take up a little more space inside the electrical box. I had to scrunch the wiring a little bit to get it to fit flush, but in the end it was fine and looks good.
Also as others have noted it does not come with a switch plate. So if you have the older "two-hole" outlets you'll need to buy a standard rectangular switch plate like this one: Lutron CW-1-WH 1-Gang Claro Wall Plate (1 Pack), White
I purchased a couple of these Anker Lightening cables to go with it. They fit snugly and work great. Anker PowerLine Lightning Cable (3ft) Apple MFi Certified Lightning Cable / Charger Cord, for iPhone 7/7 Plus 6/6s Plus 5/5s/5c, iPad mini/Air/Pro iPod touch (White)
I'll report back if something goes south, but I expect to be using the Topgreener Smart In-Wall Outlet for a long time.

If only 1 device is plugged in it works fine but just as soon as a 2nd device is plugged in to the other port it slows to a crawl. Example iPad alone on the USB C port itβs fine but if I plug in my ear buds to charge on the USB A forget it, both are slow. It stays slow until you unplug both the A & C then plug back in the C. Very annoying.

The real bad news is on Christmas Day I plugged in ear buds in on the USB A port and it instantly started smelling like it was burning. It quickly filled the house with an awful smell and smoke. We killed the circuit I pulled it out and opened it up and found this. This was only 6 1/2 months old and it experienced a catastrophic failure that had the potential of catching on fire. Is it worth saving a few bucks to risk this kind of failure? Not for me or my family. Make your own choice but I replaced it today with brand name, never again.
