Once I tried the EZ-Start tape, there was no way that I would use anything else. The tape is great for packing boxes for mailing, storage, or moving, and the EZ-start feature makes it easy to thread the tape through a dispenser or taping device. With other tapes, it can be difficult to find the end of the tape and peel it away from the roll, but not so with this tape. Easy to use, and it does the job. I won't use anything else.

Most of all, it is easy to unwind to clip off what I need. Other brands tear in the middle of pulling off the tape and mess up the whole roll. I don't have those issues because this tape is quality and gets the job done. The only brand I buy because the price is right for the amount of tape, the quick ship and of course the quality. Don't change a thing.

I ship a LOT of boxes every day. I've tried many of the tapes on the market. I've found the EZ start tape to be the best for several reasons:

1.) It is the QUIETEST TAPE on the market. With me having 2 young children and a home office that's right next to their bedroom, having a quiet tape is quite important. Nearly every other tape you will find has a shrill shriek whenever you rip the tape of the spool. This is very quiet.

2.)It truly is "EZ start". The biggest pain for me is having the tape come down and have to use a fingernail to get it up again, and then you've ripped part of it, so you end up actually wasting a lot of tape. This even when laying down on the tape roll requires very little effort to pull the end of the tape up and begin to use.

I would recommend using a tape dispenser with these rolls. It makes it so much easier to use. Plus a handy tip-One tape dispenser will last a LONG time. I've been using the same dispenser for nearly 6 months and have shipped 2,000+ boxes with it.

To sum it up, sure the price of this tape is higher than a generic or even premium tape, but it's well worth the added expense for the luxury of a good tape. One quick thing to note- NO, this is not the "stickiest" tape out there. Depending upon what you are taping, if you need something really sticky-look elsewhere. For standard USPS boxes, the stickiness of this tape is fine and works well.

We ship a fair number of packages via mail, whether for online auctions, gifts for friends/relatives, or what have you. Struggling with the packing tape has always been one of the more frustrating aspects of this. The tape the post office sells is thin and always seems to break or come off the roll in thin strips -- meaning that we wind up wasting half the roll. The name brand tape in the red dispenser is even worse.

This is the first brand we've tried that actually does what packing tape is supposed to do -- comes off the roll in one piece without breaking or becoming tangled. Only disadvantage is that it doesn't come with a dispenser -- but we saved the red dispenser from that other brand name tape and were able to use it with these rolls -- so all is well. :).

From now on, this is the only brand of packing tape we will buy.

I've used every tape there is. Duck Brand E-Z Start Packing Tape is the best. I won't use any other. Why? Because I don't have to waste my time trying to find the end of the tape, then spend a long time trying to pull the tape off the roll in small pieces until I can finally get the whole piece. WHAT A WASTE OF MY LIFE! Until I found this great tape, I dreaded packing up boxes, or taping anything. All I have to say is TRY IT to see if it works the way you'd wish a roll of tape would.

I will give this tape as gifts for Birthdays, Anniversaries, ,etc. And I know the recipient will be overjoyed, in awe and will seriously thank me for introducing them to the Best Tape ever.
