Perfect for Travel and EDC
I bought this for an intercontinental trip last month, and it worked perfectly for that. On my way there, had a 2hr flight, layover of 4.5 hrs, then a 4.5hr flight. It was awesome being able to sit anywhere and plug right in without having to leave my devices at a charging station that nowhere near my seat (as many did). Only a couple of people were able to sit next to the charging station and use their stuff while charging. While there, I carried it with me about half the time. itś about half to ~60% the size of my Samsung S22. I'd carry this in one front jean pocket and the phone in the other. Not too bulky and hardly noticeable. The awkward part is having to also carry the charging cable. Overall, it was worth carrying when I did because it allowed me to charge phones (mine and friends') while at breakfast or a bar. On the way back... This is when it was truly a godsend! We were due to land in Houston after a 4.5hr flight but there was tornado at the airport so we went to San Antonio. As an international flight, we had to sit in the plane for the next 4 hours b/c that backup airport couldn't process us. When we finally arrived at Houston, it was total chaos. They changed my gate 4 times in less than an hour, every plane was late or being cancelled, etc. It was very nice for me to be able to plug in and walk with this thing, charging my phone, as I called people to let them know I was okay. called airline, checked sties/weather, etc. This time, all charging stations were saturated, with people waiting for a port to plug into. Once I got to my gate, and my devices were charged, I did let a couple of people simultaneously to charge their cell phones. HAS EARNED A PERMANENT PLACE IN MY EDC This is a pouch that I use for everything I need at the office https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R2DQ2C4R38DCCU/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B01MSEFDKW It's easy for me to slip into laptop bag, take out when at office, carry with me in car, use at home office, etc. It keeps a USB-wall charging block, USB-A to USB-C and micro-USB, pens, highlighter, etc. All TSA compliant stuff because I also drop into my carry-on when I travel. This powerbank fits perfectly on an outside pocket. I expose the ports for charging the unit and for plugging in devices. As can be seen from the first couple of pics, I never have to remove it. And, if I need the cable to charge it, or a cable to charge a device, I unzip the top part and pull out without having to open the whole pouch up (same for returning the cable). This was definitely a very smart (and fortunate) purchase. Holds a huge deal of charge. I absolutely recommended.

The Acker PowerCore 13000 is a very nice external battery. It fits in your hand well, even for its size. Matte texture makes it a bit slippery on hard surfaces, so like any other device just don't drop it. It has 2 USB ports for IQ charging for fast charging compatible devices. The button on the side is used for turning on the Blue LEDs that indicate how much charge is left (4LEDs with incrimates of 25%). Button also can be used for simply turning on the external battery for when it doesn't detect a device on its own (it detects most devices that pluggin for a charge on its own). VERY LONG BATTERY LIFE. This battery can charge many devices before needing to be recharged (don't ask me about how long because I'm not sitting around with a stop watch). A nice feature to this battery is when your device is finished charging; it will shut itself off to prevent overcharging your device.

The Acker PowerCore 13000 does what it's says, but it is the slowest charge I have bought. Not sure if mine is defective, but I left it to charge for nearly 8 hours and it went from 2LEDs to 3LEDs. I've tried it with its original cable and others. It may be a bit picky or it doesn't like me. As punishment I have glued googly eyes. Makes me happy.

The IQ charge doesn't work for my Galaxy S6. I actually lose battery if I'm on my phone (even if its something as simple as answering a few text with nothing else open). Using the cable it came with doesn't help either. I've tried other cables as well with no improvement. Side note; it charges other devices well. If you don't have a fast charge adaptive device, then don't worry because it will charge just fine. (Again, mine may be defective. I just slap it and watch the googly eyes rattle).

It can charge both of my PS4 controllers at the same time. Useful for any device if you don't want to be withing 3feet of a power outlet. It charges nearly everything that requires a USB port charge.

I guess the biggest let down for this battery is the IQ charge and that the LEDs stay on during charge and when charging other devices (quick fix has been black electrical tape). It can charge everything else just fine, but I bought this charger just for this simple feature alone. I'll wait until the battery drains out to 0% a couple of times to see if it needs a simple reset, but this is an excruciating process because of its long battery life. This should be good to go right out of the box. Overall a great buy. I'm keeping it because it works well with everything else and it's good for trips.

    ***** UPDATE****
After a few full charges to then draining the battery completely; the battery works just like how imagined in my dreams! It doesn't take more than a couple of hours to fully charge (completely understandable because of the amount of charge given) Fast charge is a bit questionable, but it charges much faster than before. I'm not struggling with losing more power than I'm gaining. Very nice battery pack. I'm so happy I stuck with it.

This charger fits easily into my boy's shorts' back and front pockets and can fully charge a dead phone about 2.2 times. It takes one to two days to recharge the charger itself. I've used it every week for four years during marching band, and despite being a bit heavy and thick by today's standards, it was top-tier when I bought it for $22. It charges very quickly, with a full charge taking less than an hour. Although the charging speed has decreased over time, it's still reliable. While there are now slimmer and lighter chargers available at the same price or slightly higher, I would still recommend this as a trusted brand you can always rely on.

Primer Update.

    ==============================================================================

It takes almost from 8 to 10 hours to charge the power bank. Thought the charging socket a USB type C and figured out it has only USB A. Very disappointing.

Bought this in December 2020 and still going strong. I use it several times per week whether for hiking or just being out & about after work. Ideal for a multi-day camp / hike though!

It takes a while to fully charge the bank but once charged, it’ll retain power until it’s drained through use. I have an iPhone 8 which it easily charges about 4x without needing to be recharged.

It’s a little bulky & heavier than my phone so also bought a smaller Anker product which works brilliantly too although only gives around 2x charges to my phone (great for days out).

Would definitely recommend and plan on getting a second one as a back up / to keep me going for any longer hiking trips where there’s no access to power.
