purchased march 2021 - love the size. within one year of normal and careful use, the first stainless steel bowl warped and was replaced by the manufacturer free of charge since it was under warranty. the coating on this one has flaked off significantly since my last batch of chili. i have the 10-quart model; no problems. will reach out to the manufacturer again. very disappointing. been a crock pot customer for years. UPDATE: just contacted customer service and ordered a new inner pot and a spare, just in case. @ 5 stars again.

    Easy to clean since cook pot is metal and not a heavy ceramic like many older units.
    One drawback is that the recipe book that was included has many nice recipes but all quantities are in metric units and thus is worthless unless you know how to convert metric to English units of measurement.

    I bought my CrockPot Express a few months ago in 2020 and it began to get scratched immediately even after using wooden & silicon utensils. The teflon is now flaking off rapidly and I need a replacement cooking pot. I have been trying to find a replacement and it's impossible. I do not recommend this appliance. It is very useful by CrockPot has not been helpful with finding any solutions.

    The product seems to work well, but there are two reasons I will never buy a Crockpot product again. You cannot purchase the glass lid to use for slow cooking (no pressure) or replacement seals. I called the company about this problem, it never got a response.
    Thus I cannot recommend the purchase of a product from a company that offers no customer service. I will use this one until the seal goes or I get tired of wasting aluminum foal to cover the pot, toss it and buy a competitor ‘s product.
