Color: Brown
I am so impressed that it stays with me in the street most of the time.
The sound of Major III is best suited to my taste;the highs, mids and lows are balanced, music is truly reproduced. All kinds of music, regardless of rock, classical, pop, local and foreign alike are naturally presented, audiophile grade sounding.
The bass is relatively outstanding, yet strong enough to be clean and it never takes the shine out of both the mids and the highs, which are also crispy. Common headphones on the street are often too bright, too harsh, too irritating sometimes. Major III is one of a kind to listen for hours kept enjoying.
Battery life is excellent. It can last for hours for a few days on a single charge. It would have been perfect if it comes with a "c" type instead of a "micro" USB charging port.
Major III is an ear-press headphone. It does not cover the entire ear, so it may feel uncomfortable at times even though the earmuff is extremely soft, so to speak.
Major III's retro style is appealing. The one-button control is handy, all in one place for device sync, on and off, volume, tracks, and more.....for pairing problem, simply switch off the headphone first, then press and hold volume down for 8 seconds until the blue light blinks.
I am sure Major III is my best music companion for years to come.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2020I will start by admitting I own over 20 pairs of headphones (I know). These Marshall's are now one of my top 3 I will reach for when I grab a set to use. First these are made well with and offer a good amount of flexibly and feel like they will take a good amount of daily punishment. The "leather" feels soft and yet sturdy, I am wearing them for a few hours with little or no fatigue. The single knob control is just pure genius, I have 20 other headphones that do not offer this one and simple option. Every headphone from this point on should offer this and accept no others.
Now the sound, they sound really really good. The is a slight V sound signature to them but is very pleasant. The bass is there, nice and tight and not muffling and all over the place. The mids are strong and clear, the highs are nice but not to any point of being to sharp. This allows for you to get good clarity and detail from the music and vocals.
I really would like to say for what you are paying you are getting a lot in return. If not just for the single knob controller, a sturdy build and a great sound I do not think you can do any better for most other headphones under $200. This a must buy. Some of Marshals headphones I had tried and they were nice but I would pick these over the others, as I feel these have more positives than thier other offerings.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2020Sound quality: Excellent. I can hear all the different parts/instruments clearly. Nicely present bass that’s not too overpowering. Highs and minds are crisp and detailed. I really enjoy listening to music on this thing. It’s more “fun” than reference headphones, which is exactly what I was looking for. It makes the music “come alive” in a way.
Connectivity: Very good. I can have my phone upstairs and be walking around downstairs without any connection issues.
Build quality: Very good. It’s just as you see in the pictures. It does not feel flimsy.
Comfort: Good enough for on-ear headphones. By design, on-ear headphones press on your ears (which provides nice noise isolation) so after a while they’re gonna hurt a little. So I only use it for maybe and hour at a time, and I don’t like using them when I am wearing glasses because then it’s pressing my ears to the eyewear temple tips which can get painful. The padding is nice and soft.
Overall: I’d recommend these for sure! I’m very impressed!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2020Love blue tooth mobility and distance from source is pretty far range. On/off switch feature seems like it’s easy to figure out- there’s a learning curve there - thought I had turned it off? maybe this is why battery life was at nil when next I tried using them. Love everything else about these. Not a plastic crackable type head band - metal and leather which is precisely what I was on the lookout for. The nylon plastic headsets look cheap and I’ve always found the feel cheap and actually break - These are metal(?type) and leather with the clip in a heavy gauge nylon connecting piece, ear piece softer plusher feeling which I feel forms to my ear, canceling out a lot of noise , still lightweight. I’m prone to headaches - these don’t cause them. No pinching pressure so I can listen to them for decent amounts of time.
I also like the retro look.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2020I found a "Like New" Brown pair for $39.99, with full ability to return. How could I go wrong, right?
Well, these headphones are amazing! I have been blown away at their ability to reveal what is in the recording, but deliver it with punch & slam, along with outstanding imagery, realism, and clarity. With this sound combined with such a convenient and retro form factor, these have become one of my favorite "go to" pair of cans ... and I have Audeze, AudioQuest, Beyerdynamic, Grado, Klipsch, Sennheiser, etc. cans for comparison. These are just very fun and engaging headphones.
Thank you, Marshall, for reminding us how fun listening to music can be and not charging us an arm and a leg to do so!

5.0 out of 5 stars Marshall, un nome una garanzia!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good ol’ Marshall !
Design: a retro look, good touch and feel available in 3 colours all of which will feel premium and sturdy. Its quite flexible as well.
Accessories: a usb charging cable, 3.5mm cable both very good quality same colour as the headphones. No carry bag though.
Battery life: so right out of the box i charged it up for about 2 or so hours straight and it has lasted me for about 28 hours at 80% volume. My personal opinion is that the battery life is superb.
Comfort: it is an on ear headphone so for some it may not be that comfortable. Having said that, my dad (hardly uses any listening device) was able to use it for 1 hour straight on a call without discomfort so That should not be a hinderance unless on ear phones are not your type. Me personally, i have used both over and on ear and this one is comfortable to wear. The clamping force is just about perfect for me.
Noise cancelling: well firstly its not over the ear so passively speaking it does not cut out as much as an over the ear would. But once put on and listening, i frankly did not hear sounds outside of the music, even while sitting with family and they watched tv. But if active noise cancelling is one of your main criteria then no, it does not have ANC.
Sound quality: right, so this is what I believe the main aspect of any headphones. This one supports Qualcomm aptx. If you are a basshead don’t go for it. Its not like you will be disappointed but you’d rather not go for it bcz there are so many other options with emphasis on bass. I felt that these are well balanced, with decently recognizable and fun basslines and good clear mids and highs. The sound feels bright and clear. If you are into rock n roll, metal, and genres of that type it should be a satisfying buy. I guess it fits best for casual listeners and audiophiles alike.
Is it worth the price? Yes.
Considering all the aspects absolutely. Again my emphasis on sound quality, its clean, bright, guitars sound great be it clean or distortion. Percussions are tight as well. Just not the super thump bass generally expected out of headphones, that’s all.
Slightly more refined and better than marshall major II.
So to sum it up, in a price range of under 10k this is a good choice, great choice even, if you have a specific taste in music genres like i mentioned above.
Aside, do check your headphones for being original. There are videos on YouTube for the same.

5.0 out of 5 stars Genial!
Volvería a comprarmelo? Mira, es mi tercero... ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars Täglicher Begleiter
