Okay, I will start out by saying I am a U.S Service-member with over twenty years of Honorable service. With that being said I’ve done multiple tours to almost every desert in the Middle East, tours in tropical environments, tours in some pretty secluded off grid undisclosed locations. I only put this out there because I’ve had the pleasure of being a Jackery customer for years and years and the Jackery 240 portable power station, , the Jackery Solar Saga 60w tri-fold panels, and the small Jackery portable chargers were compact and lightweight enough to fit into my pack with ease and leave me room for the other essentials. Imagine being in the middle of nowhere and have a weeks worth of power at your fingertips for recharges, lights, portable fans, small burner for coffee and cooking. Then being able to say it never failed you, always recharged quickly, and has been through the worlds harshest conditions and environments, yet functions like the day you pulled it out of the box. So this began my Jackery passion. Which led me to purchase the Jackery 500. Everything I’ve said above applies to the 500 ten fold folks. Being Military my pay isn’t great so I’ve had to accumulate these items over the course of years, however never have I had to justify spending the money to my wife, as long as I said the word Jackery. Because she’s used the items as well here at home guard. My son plays Football and daughter plays soccer in the Nevada desert just miles away from where the annual Burning Man event is held. Hot dry desert climate, no trees for shade, just direct unrelenting heat. This genius woman, the love of my life used our Jackery Portable power stations to run dual fans, and a small refrigerated trucker cooler during daytime practices in a pop up sunshade tent, all neatly placed in one of those little soccer mom wheeled totes, and a folding low loveseat chair. Talk about super mom, with lots of friends who also wanted to stay cool. Then when night fell and the kids weren’t finished with practice, my lovely wife handed over the Jackery 500 to the coaches who then plugged LED lights into it and lit up the field for the kids giving us an extra hour or two to practice without the heat. This convinced her to give me permission to buy the SolarSaga 100w panels. Money was tight but she gave me the go ahead and we’ve never looked back and haven’t got an ounce of regret or buyers remorse for a single product. But this review is neither for the the Jackery 240, the Jackery 500, the SolarSaga 100w or 60w panels. It’s not even for the Jackery portable chargers. This review is to let you know, the day the Jackery 1000w Portable Power Station became available we did not hesitate for a second to buy it. With the stories we heard from friends about California and Washington power outages, the Covid-19 Pandemic, and any one of the many RV trips we take into Gods country to get away from it all for a few weeks, we both agreed this was the best thing for our family. Why use heavy loud generators, carry fuel, deal with all that monotonous nonsense, when you could literally live off the Jackery Families products. I say Family because over the years I’ve had multiple email contacts and numerous phone calls with them, and every interaction was amazing. Courteous, professional, and the products are literally second to none. The Jackery 1000 is my newest addition and there’s nothing I can say about it that the 240 or 500 don’t already represent. Twice the power, twice the life, multiple solar panel options, can recharge through car, wall, or good ol sunshine. I could get technical and go down the path as some of these reviewers do, but you anyone can read the box. I can sum everything the box says by just telling you that these products, put out by this amazing company, can enhance anyone’s life, save somebodies life, and will probably last your the rest of yours. It’s a no brainer for us. I’ve purchased every product so far with a smile knowing its perfect and the people handing it to me care enough to treat you as if you were family.

I’ve had this Jackery 1000 a little over a month and it has done everything in the specs and more. The quality build feels very solid. The handle on top makes it easy for me to carry. There is no fan noise while charging and there is some fan noise while using the inverter. Not particularly loud, the sound is there turning on and off automatically while using the inverter.

The inverter is a beast for a rated 1000 watt inverter. It powered my (rated at 900 watts) microwave at full power continuously for over 3 minutes, drawing approximately 1230 watts while running. This dropped the power percentage to 94% from full. During a short power outage, it easily powered my Dell 60 watt laptop, a portable monitor, my husband’s Surface 60 watt laptop and his portable monitor for several hours without a glitch. The inverter fan would toggle on and off appropriately 50% during that time. Dropped the power percentage to 75% from full. The Jackery had no issues powering our full sized fridge for a couple of hours to test it for a power outage at home.

I have a 105 watt AcoPower watt solar panel plugged in using the Anderson input and it’s charging at a rate of 80-85 watts in full sunlight and 75 degrees. About 80% efficiency with the built in MPPT controller.

The only thing it has not powered is a portable air compressor for pumping up car tires. The 12 volt (cigarette lighter) plug of the compressor is rated at 15 amps and works fine from the car 12 volt output. The Jackery 12 volt output is only rated at 10 amps and would not power the compressor. The same Jackery 12 volt output had no issues powering a power 12 volt fan rated at 3 amps on high. I did not have a higher amperage 12 volt to test it with.

The charger charged the Jackery from dead to full in just over 6 hours. Longer time than some of the competitors, within the range that is in the specifications. It charged quietly with no fan noise.

The USB outputs work fine, although I usually use portable USB chargers for those, so haven’t tested them as much except to make sure they work.

It came with a parallel cable for charging with two solar panels that I have not tested yet.

Overall the Jackery has exceeded my expectations. A shorter charging time would be nice. The reliability, portability, ease of use, inverter that can power my microwave at 1200 watts, built in MPPT charge controller, it’s a great package for emergencies or on the road.

    5 Stars all the way.

I bought this about a year ago!
And I am leaving a review now that I've had time to use it thoroughly.

First off, I honestly have not had 1 issue with it since I got it a year ago!
I am extremely happy about that!

I personaly use it on my adult sized trike glow bike I personally created.
You can see the adult trike the Jackery powers in the video I posted here!
I use the jackery to power the a lazer light, disco light, and led strip lights, 500w fog machine, JBL Party Box 300, my phone, all at once. This Jackery 1000 allows me to power all these devices on my Trike so I can bring a party around town.
I do shows from it. Even during covid since it's a club on wheels, social distance friendly.
While I am riding around bumping music, using the fog machine, lights, the jackery on 1 charge actually lasts me for quite a few hours. If its 100% charged, I usually always come home with still 15% - 50% left after 4-8 hours.
It depends how much i use the fog machine and if I need to charge the JBL PartyBox 300.

The loudness of The Jackery 1000 sounds equivalent to a computer when the fans are on. It's honestly not too loud, in my opinion it's very reasonable!

I have also used the Jackery 1000 to charge my laptop, DJ equipment, a small record player, psp, phones, ipad, extension cords.

I enjoy the amount of ports it has to plug devices in!
I also do like the flashlight, I think its cool, I personally don't use it much but it works if you need it!

I think this would also be real great for camping or if you you live in your rv. You can get solar panels and use it to charge devices.

I personally have not expeirnced the solar panels with it. But I am thinking about grabbing them.

I have used the Jackery 1000 many times throughout the year, so it's been through a decent amount of cycles. It still performs just as good as when I got it.

If you take good care of it, it will last you a long time.

You won't be disappointed with this Power Station.

I am an extremely happy customer to this day.

    I hope this helps you!

I bought this primarily to run a diesel drip heater in my insulated snowmobile trailer. I used a regular deep cycle battery last year and wanted more run time when a power supply was not available. PLEASE NOTE these Jackery units can not charge themselves in the cold. A thermometer comes on showing the unit is too cold to charge at -5 celsius or 27 fahrenheit. I also ran a 12 volt DC line into the trailer from my truck to use as a power source to charge the unit. The support team at Jackery said my warranty would be voided if used this way. So if you want to use these units in cold climate think again. I was impressed that it ran a 120 volt heat gun to heat some shrink tube tho.

5.0 out of 5 stars I am Impressed!

This is a VERY well thought out product, right out of the box. Well, I should say "even still in the box". You don't get just the product you ordered. It is presented to you. The manual comes in its own custom envelope. Its not just some pieces of paper stuffed in a box. Even the manual itself shows up as a dedicated "book". The accessories come in their own zipper pouch. Niiiiiice.....

I checked it for voltage output. Every out put is within spec. The"12V" cigarette lighter socket? It measures 13.2V. The AC socket? 65% charge I measure 110V AC.

The unit is dead simple to operate and the display LCD keeps you informed both for charge input and current out.

While the unit will never replace a gas generator, there are many instances where the power supplied by the Zackery is more than adequate. This was bought to also provide power for when the hydro dies in the Winter or there is a planned outage. It won't run the furnace, but it will run the gas fireplace and provide lighting while doing so. I just don't want to freeze in the dark.

This is a quality product. If you need this kind of function, get one.
