- Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2021I bought this set for my kids around the holidays. They have shown interest in building forts so I thought this would help make some interesting shapes. I did notice that my plastic clips on the end of the posts looked different than the ones I saw in the reviews. These new clips appeared to be stronger and more durable. Haven't had one break yet, even when the fort would just collapse on it's own. Which brings me to the only issue; when building the fort and placing a thin sheet on top, the fort will eventually just collapse for no reason. It is a full on collapse, pieces everywhere like it exploded. The kids still love building their own configurations, so we didn't return it.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2021We love building forts with this, but the arms aren’t very durable as a ton of the pieces have already broken off which is a huge bummer.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 7, 2021The angles of the various connector points don't actually align very well, and anything but "straight" line connections is challenging for anyone to find the correct service of the connector "ball". I bought a parachute fabric picnic blanket to use as the "blanket", as it is really light weight and packs away nicely...and they work great together.
The complaints are:
- it is not sturdy if you get higher than "2 high"
- the angled connector faces are very difficult to find the "correct" ones and in many cases there seems to be no "right" option making it unstable
- our cats simply playing in the vicinity of the structure has caused it to completely self destruct, which is hilarious to watch but I'm sure anyone's kid being inside when it happens might find it more than a little frustrating or even terrifying, depending on the age
I wish I could give it 5 stars, if it wasn't for the price I would have rated it even lower...but I guess you get what you pay for. The tubes themselves are OK, even the connecting clips are mostly adequate, but the connector "balls" are anything but obvious and will require a lot of adult assistance for any angled connections, but even then it is unstable.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2023I love the concept of this toy, but the product itself is disappointing. The little ends on the rods that connect to the ball pieces break super easily and then those rods become unusable. I was building a structure with my 5-year-old, and my infant son (not even a year old) crawled over and pulled on one of the pieces and the ends snapped off. After just one use I had six broken rods.
Also the structures you build may look cool but it's not a fort if it isn't covered, and these things can't hold the weight of a covering. I built one of the example structures shown in the instruction booklet, and I had hoped I could drape blankets over it because my son wanted a superhero hideout. I knew immediately that a blanket would be too heavy, so I got a sheet instead but even with a lightweight sheet I was afraid the structure wouldn't hold.
So disappointing because I thought this toy would be a great gift and lots of fun.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2020This was a birthday gift for a 4 year old. Actually got 2 sets. It was a hit! His 7 year older brother took the “window frames” he made and put them into an elaborate castle structure. Even the 2 year old got involved, playing pick up the sticks!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2020I am so disappointed in this product. This had the potential to be the favorite toy of Christmas as my kids were so excited to have a fort builder kit but it fell short for a number of reasons. It takes a long time for the kids to build it on their own, which wouldn’t be a problem at all if the thing didn’t collapse and crash down on them the second it was finished. It has caused lots of tears and frustration for my stem minded 7.5 year old and 4.5 year old children. We thought it might be user error initially so my husband and I spent (a lot of) time building a new one for them but once again, the second a pole was bumped when they entered the structure, the entire structure came crashing down on them causing yet again more tears. We really wanted to love this product but it is not the durable and stable product the advertisement/description says it is. It feels like a flimsy, cheap product and was absolutely not worth the money we paid. I wish I read more reviews before I purchased it because it seems I’m not the only one who has the issue of the thing completely collapsing right away. I’m not sure if the company has reached out to anyone having the same issues to make it right but I’d stay away from this one if you can.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 25, 2020It’s been open for 15 minutes and my very non-aggressive 5 YO had broken 5 spindles.
