It does the job and I haven't used electricity to do my laundry since it arrived.
I have used this machine about four times so far already and got a lot of washing done effectively and without using any electricity. I was a little bit disappointed that the silver writing on the machine is just an adhesive sticker and that the entire thing is made of plastic. That said it does the job and I am gentle with it so fingers crossed it will last. I use it on the floor in my wet room. The draining tube doesn't really work for me so I empty it by turning it over and letting the water run all over the floor to the drain. I was surprised how much I can get in one load and how easy it is to work. I am a little bit nervous of the handle but I will not overload it and hope for the best. I think it is a little bit over priced given it is just plastic stuck together with sticky tape but I am still pleased with it. I have paired it with a salad spinner style hand cranked machine to spin dry after washing.

Small loads, but Clean loads.
This product gets clothing very, very clean. I bought it in order to have it available during long power outages, but as I tested and learned how to use it I found that it really does a great job! I found that filling it about 1/2 full with warm water, a 1/2 tbs of borax and 1 tbs of liquid laundry detergent gets even denim clean and only requires one cold rinse to finish. Only downside is that you should find a way to wring them out when finished so that you can dry them easily in a dryer. I hung a really wet pair of jeans (try hand wringing a pair one time!) out on the line to dry on a nice 80 F day and it took all day to dry... but was clean and soft w/o using any softener. It is also messy to drain and I noticed on demo videos that many used them in their shower floor, on a counter next to a sink, etc.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worth the money!
I use this to get mud and blood off my clothing. I am no cleaner by far, I had my white shirt covered in blood and let it sit for a few days while rotating it a while.
