Purchased June 7 2021 - Failing March 9 2024. The lens on the PIR sensor became brittle and cracked apart from Florida sun. The sensor is now making it come on randomly every couple of minutes from dusk to dawn. It is sensitive enough the neighborhood cats will set it off and we were used to that. This is different though it's coming on non-stop. We've been satisfied with its performance over the past 3 years that I'm purchasing another as a replacement. The amount of light this thing puts out is amazing. For the price if I have to replace it every 3 years it's just barely worth the hassle. If it was more expensive I'd probably go with a different brand that has a more rugged PIR sensor shell. I'm probably going to replace it with the new model that has the 5ft remote leads to the secondary lights. That sounds appealing for how I have mine mounted and can run the wires inside the soffit. I'm wondering if I can get some wire extenders to mount the secondary lights even farther away to cover the entire side of the house. If not I can always cut and splice longer wires of the same outdoor rated gauge to it. I'm including pictures of the 3 year old light and a picture from a security camera mounted just beneath the lights. Anything used to trigger the PIR sensor on the lights would also trigger the security camera but that is no longer the case with a malfunctioning PIR sensor.

I ordered this light to replace an old security light over my garage door. It was easy enough to install, though I could have used a third hand. Holding the light and the wires and screwing on the connectors was a bit tricky. The instructions tell you to hire a professional but it really isn't that hard if you have a screwdriver and know how to turn off the breaker.

My garage is off an alley. There's an ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) just opposite. I was worried that the light would bother the person living in the ADU. After a couple of nights I did indeed hear from that person.

They sent a text thanking me for installing the light, saying that they felt much safer coming home from work after dark with the light brightening up the alley.

I hadn't actually checked the light in the dark so I went out to see how much it illuminated and, wow. It lights up a nice, wide, long swath of alley.

I purchased one of these to put in my garage... not on, but in. I placed it on the far wall and it does a wonderful job. I open the door and it picks me up immediately and illuminates the inside of the fairly large garage. I tilt up the lights to prevent being blinded. I liked it so much, I ordered 2 more to go outside, front and back to replace ones that just did not perform well. The devil is in the details ...
Here is what you need to know.
    - The light is designed to be mounted vertically. i.e. on the side of the house, not overhead.
    - The biggest design flaw is that the sensor mounting bracket is really too short and here's why. The light works wonderfully in the garage because the main center light above the sensor is pointed up, but outside, where I want to tilt the light down, it interferes with the sensor alignment. Tilting the sensor down affects how far it will pick up distant moving objects. I even considered flipping it over, but the sensor will not swivel and has this side up printed on it. I have also read that light heat affects the sensor.
    - The sensor is not made to swivel horizontally. Same with the main center light, only the side lights tilt out, which is a bummer when you mount it on the side of the house. I like flexibility of light and sensor zone placement.
Not sure if any light has all the bells and whistles. It is a really nice bright light. Just be aware of what I found out the hard way. Again, I still like the lights after a little modification.

********UPDATE:.....Contacted the Seller and they got back to me Right Away!!! Within two days, they had sent me a replacement! All products can have some lemons, It's the customer Service that puts a company out front! This is one of those companies!! Thank You!******************

Works for two months and then stopped.. While it worked great for two months. Extremely bright and had sensitivity at maximum. Within 75 feet the light came on every time for the designated time. But, shortly after two months the light would work, maybe, sometimes! Most of the time I could stand in front of it, jump, wave and no response. Being a electrician, I checked my power source and wiring and everything checked out perfect. I found it once in a while if I walked across to the light it would come on, but the majority of the time it was just dead.

I like to do my own work around my house so I understand how things work. Especially with electrical work - I like to know how things are wired. This device came as advertised. I found it easy to install (took about 35 minutes give or take a couple of minutes). The motion sensor works well for our driveway (detects motion a good 30 feet away). The 3 LED lights are nice and bright and light up the area around the entrance where I installed the device. Purchased this to replace an old existing spotlight so it was easier to put in as the wiring and mounting were already in place.

I did have to cut the wires back on the device when I connected it. Better to have too much wire than not enough. The way the original was wired, I did not have to use the lead off the ground screw on the mounting bracket. The original wiring had the ground attached to the bracket and then to the device itself. I recommend using the wire nuts that come with this device as my originals had too big a hole and I couldn't get them to catch the wires and mate them. The wire nuts that came with this device did the trick and worked perfectly for me.
