We have had two of these inverters since 2021. I’m sure we would have the OG one but I tried to charge my gaming laptop with it without checking the capacity and fried it (my bad). We quickly bought a second one though. It’s quiet, charges the iPad fine and can charge my kids school chrome books on the go. It’s super helpful for long car rides. We plug it in the AC plug in the trunk of the van so the kids can charge their devices back there and my husband and I just use a mini plug up front for ours. Highly recommend this.

Silent and powerful. I ran a drill battery charger, laptop, RGB lights and several USB chargers off of this with no issues. I don't think the fan ever even needed to kick on for that load. I spent double what this cost on a DC inverter that I needed in a pinch with half the wattage from a truck stop (which also died in less than 24 hours), and wish I had just waited and bought this instead. I can't rate it highly enough. For the price, it's hard to beat.

Preamble: I bought an expensive camping battery hoping to be able to charge my scooter. It didn't work. The battery is rated at 300 watts, And it would continuously quit charging a 140 w charging cable. Very disappointing.

Now:
I bought this to try to charge it in the back of my vehicle.

In a few minutes I saw my battery life go from 65.9 to 66.1

Which is all the testing I need. This definitely works. I will be able to take my electric scooter, charge it on the go, and ride it at location.

Good product, I have several of Bestek's pure sine inverters and have been very happy with them, so buying this was a no brainer. Right now I'm using it to maintain a car battery from another battery (I know, long irrelevant story) and it works well. The fan is pretty quiet and I had to check to make sure it was actually working in a semi-noisy environment.

One gripe I have about this is it doesn't come with a clamp option which doesn't make much sense for an inverter of this size. If you're using this in a car you might not be able to push it much beyond 150w current draw because many cars have a 15A or 20A fuse for that. 155w at 12v is ~13A, 215w is ~18A. And I don't think it's a great idea to push those fuses to their rated capacity, especially since you'll have to account for a small amount of overhead in the inverter itself. Using it with a clamp to 12v socket adaptor, everything gets hotter than I'm comfortable with when pushing it closer to 180w and it was shutting off around 240w. Good product, I have several of Bestek's pure sine inverters and have been very happy with them, so buying this was a no brainer. Right now I'm using it to maintain a car battery from another battery (I know, long irrelevant story) and it works well. The fan is pretty quiet and I had to check to make sure it was actually working in a semi-noisy environment.

One gripe I have about this is it doesn't come with a clamp option which doesn't make much sense for an inverter of this size. If you're using this in a car you might not be able to push it much beyond 150w current draw because many cars have a 15A or 20A fuse for that. 155w at 12v is ~13A, 215w is ~18A. And I don't think it's a great idea to push those fuses to their rated capacity, especially since you'll have to account for a small amount of overhead in the inverter itself. Using it with a clamp to 12v socket adaptor, everything gets hotter than I'm comfortable with when pushing it closer to 180w and it was shutting off around 240w. I cut the plug off and put some clamps on, works perfectly. But this is strange to me because I feel like many people wouldn't think twice about it.

Living in the middle of nowhere, I use battery powered lights from DeWalt for the time being, use this to plug in the charger during my drives to town. Worked flawlessly for weeks, but now it eats fuses. I swap a new one, charge starts up, but I suspect the adapter took a knock somewhere along the way jarring something loose which I may have to insulate/re solder, there's obviously a short in the unit somewhere now. Glad Amazon carries 10amp mini fuses by 60 for less than 4 out of Canadian tire. Good unit, useful and does the intended job, but treat it gently.

*UPDATE*
I was wrong,this unit works flawlessly,I now believe the issue was caused by a DeWalt battery charger. I am not an electrical engineer, but suspect that at times the battery in charger sends juice back to the outlet which sends that back to the car system and blows fuses. Not certain, but makes the most sense to a layman like myself. Running a 120w charger for my necessities has no issues with fuses at all. I would think this unit would have some protection for such behavior,but then again, I would rather pop the hood to swap a fuse than disassemble this unit. This unit does exactly what is promised, and I do apologize for any confusion I may have caused. Sturdy unit, would buy again.

So ... this item works IF you have charger blocks that fit. Lol it's got a bit of a design flaw? I guess you'd call it....

I was planning to use this for our road trip to charge devices for a family of 7.

My super fast chargers for my tablets and android are horizontal in length so it covers the other outlets. At most I could use 1 charger block on the left and 2 usb ports on the right. But I needed that other plug for a laptop.

Unfortunately refunded n bought another brand that had the plugs on another side and spread out so I can fit different size plugs.

With that said , I tested it out with just the one plug... and it charged my s24 ultra in 37mins using my super fast charger...Which my car couldn't do without it. So it works just consider what you are plugging 🔌 n if it will fit.
