i got two of these from the same 1116 lot (what they ship in 2021) and returned one for refund (thanks Amazon). clock accuracy may seem silly when you consider you'll need to time change these manually every 6 months, but i needed a second hand i could trust for financial market watching reasons. (against NIST) one clock was 10 seconds fast per month while the other clock was 2 seconds slow per month, so it would seem getting an accurate crystal is a crap shoot here.i used a salt bath calibrated B07YY1FB9D (which was double checked against nearby weather service readings while in the shade outdoors to further confirm accuracy). i determined that one humidistat was wild and seemed to report random numbers ±9% while the second one was +7% at low humidify and +5% at high humidify, which means if i could manually recalibrate this clock then it's humidity% would be reporting fairly accurately.accuracy junkies like myself should be patient with any device you buy, as you need a few weeks of observation for the humidity% to refine a bit on any new humidistat. be advised if you live an a dry climate, this clock reports "LOW" once under 20% and considering it's calibrated high, that would mean any reading under 27% will show up as "LOW" so if you need that number to be reported well down into the teens, don't depend solely on this clock.if we could recalibrate this thing and it had daylight savings clock change logic built into it - this would be a ultimate clock to have, but sadly Marathon designers missed the mark... yet it's still better at this price point than anything else out there, particularly if you need a wide viewing angle LED (to read across a dark room) instead of LCD. other features such as alarm and usb charging are not needed by me, so i don't comment on those here, but it's nice to know they can assist should i need them.
