I'm not sure, but I think the scale is about 1:100. I picked this up to try to incorporate in TTRPG. I included some pictures of 25 to 32 mm minitaures. It's a bit small, especially compared with the cannons and stairs. But it still works, or would be perfect for halfling or gnome sized ship. I'm likely going to remove the masts, spars and rigging for ease of play. Or refit the masts for magnets.
Some tips: For poor leverage situations, squeezing the tabs before trying to insert was helpful. The numbers on the parts are usually on the bottom or hidden when put together. An exacto knife or a small precison screwdriver helps. It's very time consuming, but using a dark marker to color the exposed edges can improve the appearance. If you have time, replace the rigging ropes with black thread or twine.

The end result was a f***ing masterpiece. Great gift for a Bob the builder boyfriend or DIY girlfriends. I had a blast putting this together. Instructions are not hard to read parts are easily labeled and I had no issues what so ever. 10/10 do recommend.
Size wise it’s massive bigger than I thought. Def keep away from kids. 12 years or older can put this together

My 9 yr old son completed this almost entirely by himself. It took a long time but it held his interest. There was one or two pieces we needed to glue to ensure it would stay in place. Lights are pretty awesome.

I love all building sets. If I can put it together I will like it. This one was a blast. Even just punching out all the pieces from the main board was fun for me. I highly recommend. It takes time to build and is truly a bang for your buck compared to other building sets. You will need patience to make sure that you are correctly assembling and it says no glue needed but I certainly added some hot glue here and there just to beef up the structure. Its a little tricky so I wouldn't really recommend it for children and its definitely more advanced.
