There was an unfortunate accident with our previous tv, so we replaced it with this one. Before jumping into purchases of this size I do a lot “research.” I compared different models of the same size and picked the features that were the most important to me. Below is a list of the most important things I considered.
Glare - this tv has a bigger glare issue because of the glossy screen. For us this wasn’t a big issue because of tv placement, window location and lighting.
Refresh rate - honestly I don’t remember the refresh rate but I believe it has a higher refresh rate with an AI component to it. I do know it’s amazing quality and I have not noticed issues with this. Sports, shows, movies are all smooth.
Smart features - we use our tv for YouTube tv, YouTube, Netflix and prime video. The remote makes using them sooo easy. You push the google button and it does anything and everything you say. It will adjust volume, open apps, and even look up local restaurants.
Light bleeding - some TVs have an issue where the light bleeds into your blacks but that hasn’t been a big issue for us. Occasionally I’ll notice where white objects in a scene tend to bleed quite a bit but only seems to be in dark scenes.
Picture quality - wells it a 4K tv with bright colors and black blacks. I couldn’t be happier.
I decided to spend more on this tv than the one that met it’s demise sooner than anticipated. I’m truly glad I spent more because it’s night and day compared to the old vizio tv we had. The only thing I miss is that it had a silver edge and was very thin compared to this one but I’ve become accustomed to that change and don’t notice anymore. There are cheaper tvs and more expensive tvs but this one checked the most important boxes for me.
