This is the one you my sons always been consistent playing with, he’s 3 and very much in love with this set. It keeps them busy, while being easy to understand and makes them use motor skills. It’s great constant usage, bad build sturdy. Buy this for any Thomas and friends lover in you life it’s a must!

This went together in 31 easy steps, so give yourself about an hour or so to build it. Instructions are all in drawings so if your brain works like that, it’s fine. It really doesn’t do a whole lot of things. The train goes around the track nicely, but it involves human engagement to Move cranky the crane around when the train gets to that point on the track. You can put cargo up and down in an elevator, and the whole thing is just really fun to look at. I never thought they’d like it this much. I’ve had it since July. We had so much for them at Christmas we didn’t bring it out and now is my grandson’s third birthday and it’s a hit. !! Quality, value and fun. Will be very durable. We’re not about to disassemble this !

This playset arrived on schedule and was packaged to withstand most bumps during transit. There was no damage. It is a heavy carton. But I wanted to pass along my two cents - in case it helps someone who has decided yet to purchase it.
Size: Forget measurements: Take a good look at your couch. The playset is about or is as high as the back of your couch. The width: If you have wide cushions on your couch, then you have a good idea of how wide this playset is. Depth: AGAIN, use the cushion on your couch to image the depth. In short, the finished piece takes up a bit of room, but It is easy to move after its built.
Construction: The instructions-all 25 steps, are easy to follow. The first dozen or so calls on you to attach small Philips screws which hold the base together. There are 19 screws-this takes the most time. Assume it will take an hour or so if you are doing this part manually. Note they usually give you one extra screw.
Once the base is screwed together, the rest snaps into place. Oh, be sure to attach the decals before assembly.
Playing. Once you put the batteries (purchase separately) in the engine. Test out the playset.
You will notice two things. No drawbacks-just something to keep in mind.
First: The bridge is only long enough for an engine and one other car or attachment. I mention this because many Thomas engines have two or three additional cars attached to the engine. While these will run on the track- you may have a problem with the hand-operated swing bridge. You WILL have an issue at the base-unless you have another set of tracks attached -so the train can travel that instead of continuing up the other side of the tower.
Again, I mention this because my grandson's trains have at least three cars attached to the engine most of the time.
Price: I have seen this playset priced at $100.00. I paid less here and I noticed that it is currently $5.00 cheaper than what I paid a short time ago.
Value: My grandson's eyes grew bigger than the playset when he first saw it. He likes it and we of course added a few our the older sets we have to it. So it takes up most of our family room floor.
The whole point of this review is to point out the size of this playset. The fact that the train goes up and down and around the tracks automatically is nice. There are release levers on the two main curves that stop the train so the person playing, has time to adjust the bridge above or the roundhouse bridge below by hand. Then a flip of the switch and the train moves on down the track.

Oltre la torre da costruire nella confezione ci sono 1 trenino con locomotiva a batteria con relativo rimorchio,un aereo bianco e un trenino di metallo della linea senza batterie a spinta normale.
La torre e davvero molto grande e mio figlio la sta usando tantissimo può spostare a mano il binario con una manovella che fa da ponte e a diversi scambi.La cosa bella e che se si hanno già dei binari della linea di Thomas si possono aggiungere e creare nuove piste che si attaccano alla torre e anche tutti gli accessori come i vari garage anche questi si possono attaccare.
Mio figlio usa anche tuttini trenini più piccoli della stessa linea e sono compatibili.
Materiali come dicevo ottimi e robusti e li sta usando un bimbo di 4 anni poco attento e grossolano.Il montaggio molto veloce mio marito ci ha messo una mezzoretta ma nulla di difficile perche e ad incastro e a delle viti per fissarlo.
Il pacco era ben imballato aveva la confezione in cartone scuro della fisher price e poi all'interno un altra confezione davvero bella della torre con apertura che sembra il cofanetto che si apre in tutti i videogiochi online di thomas.
Consegna velocissima con amazon prime come sempre ottima e super consigliata..
