Best bang for your buck grill.
I got this grill to replace a Blackstone. It’s an awesome grill. Not just a portable grill but an every day feed 8 people burgers grill. Also does Chicken, fish, pork ribs, you name it. The aftermarket smoke box cranks out smoke for good smoke. Grill grates and drip tray are clean in the sink. Note the melty toasted cheese. The grill did that and not a torch. Fast shipping with zero problems!

The size is fantastic. You can use both or either side independently. This one uses a water drain for grease so no can of grease to cleanup. There are 2 grilles and are cast iron and are easy to clean and maintain. Even cooking and heating. The grill is a great size for portability. Great for camping or at home. This is our second one. The first one lasted for years. Only replaced it as a way to give a Father’s Day gift for the man that already has everything.

We bought this to use on our RV and it was pretty easy to put together and works well. My only gripe is the need to put water in the drip pan every time you use the grill. Then you have to empty it and almost always spill the greasy water. Reminds me of the old rainbow vaccume my grandmother had that was filled with water to catch the dirt. Overall we like it but I would maybe have done something different if I'd known about the water fill.

I received the Coleman RoadTrip 285 Portable Stand-Up Propane Grill yesterday. When unpacked and assembled I connected the propane bottle to test. When looking at the gas control knob panel I found several scratches all along the top of the panel. Apparently the grill cover wasn't secured or isolated for shipping. This caused the cover to move scratching the control panel. I'm disappointed to have purchased a new grill and have it scratches on a new product.
However, aside from the scratches it was easy to assemble, pretty sturdy, like the pull-out side shelves, side handles, foldup stand, portability and over all quality met my expectations. The grill started right up and really heated up quickly using the screw-on small Coleman propane bottle. I purchase the adaptor hose to use with a 5 gallon propane cylinder or connect to the travel trailer grill gas port connection. I'll put it through a test this weekend.

The bbq is really handy and useful if space matters! Easy to store and carry on for a bbq at any place.
The grill can get very hot which is nice for a steak but easily burns food as well if you're not paying enough attention. Both sounded sides develop less heat which can be nice to place food which didn't require as much heat as a steak.
So I think the BBQ set is doing a bet good job but it requires some test runs to find out Gove to get your stuff bbqed to perfecting.
The only disappointing thing is the hood lock for transportation! This flimsy steel pin is too short and not strong enough!!! It alludes to the centre position and when you roll your bbq on Les even surface the pun bends a bit, the hood opens and the heavy grates falling off! That's horrible and I wonder that Coleman didn't check on that safety feature because my 3 year old son who walked behind me got 1 grate on his foot and got a big bruise but luckily nothing more. Now I secure the hood with a strong rubber strap which is of course ugly but fits the purpose!
Coleman, change your lock and you may get 5 stars instead of 4.

It's really easy to set up. It's portable, cooks well, and it's easy to clean. The only inconvenience is that it only uses the small propane tanks but you can get an adapter for that. I love this grill!
