See what you can do with Alexa on your Smart TV
I got this TV like a year and a half ago. I ordered it with the service of they deliver it, bring it in, unbox, set up, take away if broken out of the box, and take away trash in it works properly. Great service there. Plus, it was free for me with Prime. If it's still available, I would recommend if you don't want to set it up yourself.
The TV itself is pretty good. It does everything I need it to do. First, picture looks great whether it be videos, pictures, or games. Second, no issues connecting it to and switching it between my computer and PS5 (the only things I connect it to). Third, it took a little bit to figure out, but once I did, connecting it to my Bluetooth headphones (which I use with the TV like 95% of the time) becomes easy, so long as the headphones you use are ONLY connected to the TV. I personally have two sets I switch between depending on battery. After setting them up, I just take them out of their case, wait a few seconds, the TV prompts me to connect or ignore, click yes, and I'm good. Fourth, when I decide not to use my headphones, the sound quality is pretty good, loud and clear enough for me. Fifth, there is a Low Blue Light filter (or whatever it's called) option that helps cut down on blue light (blue light apparently can help keep you up. I struggle with sleep.). The picture becomes a bit more yellow, whites aren't as white, but it's not really all that bad. I usually leave it on all the time and forget it's even on.
I don't use the apps, as I have my computer and PS5 to serve those purposes, so I can't comment on that.
The remote is... OK. Far as the features I do use, it gets the job done. The motion controls aren't stelar, but for me they get the job done.
The BIGGEST complaint for me on the entire thing is the Power On / Power Off situation. Far as I can tell (and I've looked, though maybe I am blind), there are zero buttons on this TV at all, so you HAVE to use the remote for pretty much all interactions with the TV itself. For the most part, that's not bad. EXCEPT the power button on the remote started becoming finicky after a few weeks, needing multiple presses and sometimes multiple minutes to turn it on, and multiple presses, although much easier, to turn off. After about 6 months, the Power button seemed to stop interacting with the TV at all. Sure, it still lights up when pressed, but nothing happens with the TV. Luckily for me, turning on my PS5 turns the TV on, and the sleep timer, located in the Settings Menu, can turn the TV off, although the shortest amount of time for that is ten minutes. Maybe someday, I'll get a different remote SO I can power on / off normally, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
Over all, I would recommend this TV. There may be better ones out there, but this one satisfies my TV needs. Maybe consider ordering a separate remote...
Edit: I have solved my power on / power off issue by downloading the LG ThinQ app so I can control my TV from my phone. Takes a bit to get the account set up and permissions and all, but once it's set up, works fine. Still sucks that the Power button on the remote stopped working so quickly, but atleast there is a free option to work around it instead of buying a new remote just for a Power button.
