Works well for the price - very basic
This unit is a BATHTUB RETRO-FIT KIT - and a nice one at that. The water-fall effect is a nice feature.Says you can run both shower heads at same time -this is not true, it's 1 or the other - which is fine.It starts at the handheld wand and you have to push the button to make the water go up - LIKE A TUB RETRO KIT WOULD DO.The indicator for HOT and COLD are confusing. The temp selection indicator is the bottom of the handle, not the top where the H and C labels are etched into the trim, so it seems like the unit is backwards when trying to find your temp - turn to the right gets HOT and turn to the left gets COLD since the bottom of the handle is the indicator. I would suggest adding and arrow or red and blue colors on the bottom of the handle to mitigate this confusion.Shower head extension bar is very thin and got a bit crushed/bent when installing - not terrible but still flimsy - box should include a particular tool that fully fits the extension bar so you can tighten this down to the wall. The trim is pretty thin - the tub spout trim was also scratched when spinning it onto the shower.Lastly, the box doesn't include adapters for the plumbing to reach the water supply and you will have to figure this part out.We are pleased with the unit besides the above.
