Despite being a premium manufacturer of chargers, cables, and smarthome tech (under the Wemo brand), Belkin still doesn't quite have the same reputation when it comes to headphones and earbuds. This isn't the first audio product from them that I have reviewed, but it is the first pair of headphones. I think that Belkin is slowly working their way up to the $250 price point, with a pair of earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation, similar to the AirPods Pro. These earbuds are mostly good, but I think they could have done a few things better. The Soundform Move Plus is fairly budget oriented pair of true wireless earbuds, especially the pair without wireless charging. These earbuds are actually pretty nice for the price, despite being priced under $75, they still have the look and feel of a Belkin product, which are always high quality. These earbuds are in auto-paring mode as soon as you open the lid of the charing case. You get three sizes of eartips and a charging cable in the box. They really were kind of skimpy in the wired charging department, in my opinion. Not only did they use Micro USB for the charging port, but they give you a super short little cable for charging. The included one is about seven inches from connector to connector, and there is no Belkin symbol to be found. USB C should have been used for the charging port, especially on a product that costs $70, wireless charging or not. Sound quality is good, as good as it can be for this price. Especially if the $50 pair sound like the $70 pair that I'm reviewing. I would imagine that both products are the same, apart from the wireless charging coil inside the case which enables the earbud case to be charged with a Qi charger. When paired with the correct size of eartips, the passive noise isolation on these earbuds is quite good. Better at cancelling out the outside noise than some pairs I've used with ANC. They feel comfortable in my ear and I could wear them for long periods without any issue. The touch controls work ok, but not perfectly. I noticed that they had trouble being able to distinguish between a single tap and a double tab (at least with me and the way that I tap). One thing that stands out to me, this product IS actually Qi certified! There are many products on the market that can charge wirelessly, but on the ones that cost less than $100, you normally don't see the Qi symbol on the box or the bottom of the product. Because it actually costs something extra to get that stamp of approval, and it does mean something. It means that the product correctly implemented the Qi charging standard, as opposed to simply being compatible with it. You also get IPX5 on the earbuds, this means that they are protected when it's raining or you workout with them. I'm not sure about the charging case, usually the water resistance doesn't extend to the case (but the USB port does have a rubber plug). This is a good pair for the price, apart from the things I mentioned. It includes a 1 year warranty in the US, and Belkin should be trustworthy when it comes to support. With this being a product from that brand, the individual components are probably higher quality than would be found inside of a product from a no name brand. I can't wait to see what Belkin does when they make something that competes at the high end ($250-$300). Update: I did a microphone test of all the true wireless earbuds I own. To be fair, I tested these against other pairs in the sub $100 price range. The mic on these earbuds is usable, but it definitely doesn’t sound good or close to good. Belkin’s highest end pair of true wireless with the charging case that works with the Find My network, sounds significantly better when recording audio or making voice calls.
