I bought this box over 12 months ago, and last week we had a strong wind in Miami and the top lid got ripped from the rest of the box.Just ordered a plastic one to replace this one

    Highly recommend for a cheaper alternative to the large lockboxes. It obviously isn't very secure. It is large enough to hold fairly large packages. Lightweight and easy to move if you don't want it permanently outside. You can chain it down, but we just use it to keep the packages out of sight. The locking mechanism doesn't line up very well. We felt it was too much trouble for the postal carrier to use.

    It's a big box and the label on top is great, but it has a mesh bottom so rain seeps up through the base, and the top can't be properly closed. The hook for the lock isn't lined up properly with the grommet so you can't latch it at all, meaning the top can fly open in the wind. Really disappointed as being able to close it was the whole purpose.
