Wi-Fi connectivity

Dual-band Wi-Fi supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 and 5 GHz) networks. Does not support connecting to ad-hoc (or peer-to-peer) Wi-Fi networks.

Amazon Sidewalk

A shared network that can simplify Echo device setup and can help your device reconnect to your wifi router when you update your password or network name. Sidewalk uses a small portion of your internet bandwidth to provide these services to you and your neighbors, and is enabled on your device unless you have previously disabled the setting. You can disable Sidewalk at anytime. Learn more here.

Bluetooth connectivity

Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) support for audio streaming from your mobile device to Echo Dot or from Echo Dot to your Bluetooth speaker. Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) for voice control of connected mobile devices. Hands-free voice control is not supported for Mac OS X devices. Bluetooth speakers requiring PIN codes are not supported.

These light bulbs are worth every penny. They have saved money over the years.
My husband is absolutely fun. I know when we need to buy a new set of light bulbs, there is one bulb left in the box, I buy another set.
He has our house set up for "Good morning" He has programmed ten lights to turn on. He has a hall light that reduces to 25% power, with the "Good night" command. Late at night we need to light up that hall but not like sunlight. These light bulbs are that bright. I enjoy the "Good night/ Good morning" command. it's fun to play with. When I hear one of my teenage grandchildren up, sneaking about.
The first time I did it, freaked him out he thought the house was haunted. My husband knew what I was doing he said who's up? I didn't know which one of them was. I will tell the Dot " Good morning " Ten lights come on in the house. Their bathroom is included. Then I say "Good night", I say " Good morning". When the individual goes back to their room, "Good night" and everything goes back one of two hall lights back to 25%. They've gotten my message you're up at 2:00 in the morning get back in bed.
I love these light bulbs we have now 10 Alexa dots throughout the house, anywhere I stand in the house. I can tell a Dot to turn on, or off whichever light I want.
We find them absolutely so helpful. We can control the lights with our phone, one or all lights they are that programmable and reliable, with the Alexa Dots in the Alexa app. : )

This particular one sits on my wife's makeup vanity and she uses it to listen to music or audiobooks while she prepares to go out. This is my 4th purchase on Amazon Echo Dot! It's a white model without clock. The sound between 4th and 5th generation echo dots do not differ much. I like both generations of echo dots! You do not need to raise volume beyond level 6 unless your room is over 1000 sqft. Alexa app is very responsive as well.

I have installed 1 Echo 2nd Gen. and 4 3rd Gen. Echo’s that are all still in use but this 4th Gen. is my favourite. Got it for my wife to use while she cooks and bakes to play music, keep timers and everything else. It sounds great, I think better than the 2nd Gen. that I got for sound purposes mainly that is in our sitting room. Looking for a reason to add another 4th Gen. to the house I like it that much lol.
