An earlier pressure washer I owned made me realize what I wanted in a good one. This one is made with strong metal fittings, breaks down to a small size for storage with a proper place for each part, and DOESN'T TIP OVER when standing or being used. It has a long water hose and a long electric connection. The choices for type of spray are many, and the ability to have more GPM shortens any job. We've used it to clean a very dirty brick/tile patio, including mildew-like stains, as well as cleaning out the channels in expansion joints in the driveway. It can spray long distances because of the 3.5 high GPM. Finally, the motor doesn't get hot and shut off, like some other brands. We really love it. The only disadvantage was the customer service at Briggs & Stratton. We'd made a mistake and thought it wasn't working because we didn't let it warm up enough when first using it. (That should be made clearer in the manual.) The representative told us to take it to a local repair shop, when in fact they only repair gas-powered ones. Electric ones are just replaced if there's anything wrong with them.

Arrived broken but Amazon did the right thing.
The unit arrived with a broken inlet. It wasn't where the hose hooked up but rather the other end where that pipe went into the pump. It was physically cracked right out of the box. Very poor quality control from the factory to let this go like this. I tried calling the Briggs and Stratton support line and of course on a Saturday they are closed. So I started the return process on Amazon and I was offered a call back from Amazon to try and fix this. Clicked the call me button and my phone rang immediately. The gentleman on the phone was great. This was on a Saturday. Monday I had the old unit picked up at my house and a new unit delivered to my door. If my new unit works as expected I may raise my 1 star but arriving broken is a 1 star rating. Amazon would get 5 stars for their customer service on this one though!
