Excellent Surround or Stereo Sound, Comfort, & Customizations!
I own a ton of different headsets from low-end Turtle Beach PX22's to pricey Sony to Sennheiser models. On my PC I've been using a set of (wired) Turtle Beach PX24's for about 1.5yrs. For the most part, my PX-24's did just fine but with some annoyances and performance could've been better due to an issue picking up static when using the in-line amp. The Logitech G533 headset is just miles ahead of my old headset and compares positively against my high-end headsets including the Turtle Beach Elite 800. ►Unboxing & Setup: The G533 is wireless so there's really not much at all in the box. You get the headset and the USB dongle and a few simple inserts that cover the warranty and instructions for replacing the rechargeable battery. Setup is about as easy as it can get. Simply plug in the USB dongle, let the plug-and-play drivers do their thing and you can start using the headset immediately! For a more customized experience, you'll want to go to Logitech's website and download their generically named "Logitech Gaming Software." ►Logitech Gaming Software (LGS): There are so many features that LGS adds that I figured it deserved its own section. Definitely, go and grab the LGS if you own the G533 or a myriad of other Logitech peripherals that make use of it. The simple to follow interface allows you to customize everything from equalizer levels (or select from built-in presets), audio levels per channel, G-key macros, and also view a detailed status of the Lithium-ion battery. In short, to make full use of the G533 you need LGS. ►Performance: I've tested the G533 with a few different games, listening to music via Spotify, and watching Blu-Ray and streaming movies. The G533 sounds incredible and if you're into surround sound this headset is definitely worth the investment. With supported Blu-Ray movies the G533, does a great job delivering amazing surround sound. I really wasn't much of a believer in headphones delivered surround sound until I tried out the Turtle Beach Elite 800 and now I recognize it as an affordable way to enjoy surround sound. Plus, as a parent, I can't go and jack up the volume on my home theater very often. More often than not my go-to option is my surround sound headphones. The G533 delivers crisp, clean, and realistic audio. Even if you're not a surround sound enthusiast the stereo performance on this headset is very good. Out of the box, I found the bass a bit low but quickly adjusted it via LGS. I've even been able to assign bass adjustments to the 'G' macro key on the headset via LGS. ►Features: On my Windows 10 machine, the G533 integrates quickly and easily. One of my favorite things is the ability to switch from my desktop speakers to my headset through the OS. Trust me, this feature did not work with my PX-24s and constantly annoyed me. The volume adjustment on the headset works exactly the same way it way it does on my Logitech G610 keyboard and displays the volume and track information on-screen. I'm also digging the microphone on the G533. It's a rigid boom that adjusts 90°. Extended the mic is unmuted and ready to go. Folded up (into the headset) and mute is auto-enabled. Simple and clean. Logitech claims a battery life of 15-hours and while I haven't explicitly tested the battery life, the G533 hasn't left me hanging after extended use. The battery is rechargeable via USB-to-Micro USB and a cable is included in the box. The battery is user replaceable which is excellent and a dead battery doesn't necessarily mean you have to buy a new headset. ►Closing: I've used Logitech products almost as long as I've been using computers and I'm happy to say that the G533 lives up to my previous experiences with Logitech peripherals. This headset sounds great and is extremely comfortable. It's also easy to use but features deep customization options if you're so inclined. Recommended!

After having these headphones for a nearly year, have to say they are amazing, but not perfect. I purchased them for gaming, and was looking at wireless for sake of comfort and mobility.
First thing, and probably the most attractive feature, is the wireless. It works even better than I expected, I can go pretty much anywhere in my house, or out on my porch, I suppose I can get up to ~50 feet from the receiver, and still get reception, with exception of near the fridge and the laundry room, probably because of the metal.
Now the quality is good, but these are definitely not the best sounding headphones I have. Not to say that they sound terrible, they sound great, but compared to other headphones I've used, these are a notch lower on the quality scale. Sounds are muddier then my Sennheiser 200s, and granted those are much cheaper headphones, I got them used for $40, and they're also not wireless. After some tinkering with the equalizer, I was able to get slightly better sounding audio in my games, and *decent* audio with music. Without a 6.3mm or 3.5mm plug, can't plug it in to my amplifier, so its the best I can do. The audio positioning is amazing, even with DTS surround off, but the quality is awful when its on. And speaking of, don't even bother with the Logitech software features like the surround/bass boost, its just garbage, one of the only useful features is the battery meter.
The microphone is amazing quality. To be honest, its near the quality of a blue yeti, which I'd borrowed from a friend to compare, and I suspect that in most scenarios audio compression will make that difference completely unnoticeable. The microphone was problematic for the first few days, but after some tinkering the mic was still quiet, then suddenly started working perfectly. As a matter of fact people I talk to were complaining about "wind" sound when I was talking, so I took a boom cover of another headset of mine that is about the same dimensions and slipped it over the mic, and can still be heard loud and clear without it sounding like I'm blowing into the mic every time I talk.
Battery life is what surprised me, as I doubted the advertised 15 hours, but even after almost a year of heavy daily use, I still only charge it every three days, and usually use it for 4+ hours a day. So close enough to 15 hours I suppose. And the cord that comes with it is 6 feet so you shouldn't have a problem charging while in use.
The physical quality is amazing. They are very sturdy, not a whole lot of plastic wiggle, and even after a year of heavy use there's no plastic creaking or anything of the like. The cloth mesh earpiece and headband are really comfortable, even in 2+ hour gaming sessions and movies, and better yet they don't get sweaty easily. The cloth mesh is not to hard to take out and wash, (don't know if they are machine washable, just went with the safe bet and washed 'em in the sink) and they've been washed 3 times now and look pretty much as good as when the headphones were new.
I do have a few complaints. First about the charger port, I think there should some be something to bracket it in better, I feel like it would be to easy to accidentally bend the connector outwards when its plugged in, but so far no problems or accidents there. The other problem I've had is that if the headset is completely dead, you have to turn it off and let it charge a little bit before you can use them while plugged in, otherwise they with drop connection a lot. Also, though minor, the volume wheel is pretty easy to bump, being on the bottom back of the left earpiece and pretty sensitive, if you wear sweaters be warned!

OVERALL: these are definitely my favorite headphones, despite what end up being minor problems when you stack the pros against the cons.
If your are looking for good wireless headphones for long gaming sessions these are great! But if you are a stickler for high quality sound you might want to pass, as the quality is lacking and with no option of hard wired 6.3 or 3.5 port, no amplifier :(

I've used Logitech products almost as long as I've been using computers and I'm happy to say that the G533 lives up to my previous experiences with Logitech peripherals. This headset sounds great and is extremely comfortable. It's also easy to use but features deep customization options if you're so inclined. Recommended!

      ►Unboxing & Setup:
The G533 is wireless so there's really not much at all in the box. You get the headset and the USB dongle and a few simple inserts that cover the warranty and instructions for replacing the rechargeable battery.

Setup is about as easy as it can get. Simply plug in the USB dongle, let the plug-and-play drivers do their thing and you can start using the headset immediately! For a more customized experience, you'll want to go to Logitech's website and download their generically named "Logitech Gaming Software."

      ►Logitech Gaming Software (LGS):
There are so many features that LGS adds that I figured it deserved its own section.

      ►Performance:
I've tested the G533 with a few different games, listening to music via Spotify, and watching Blu-Ray and streaming movies.

      ►Features:
On my Windows 10 machine, the G533 integrates quickly and easily.

I work full time as a desktop IT tech and have been using these headphones for the past 10 months, and I am very happy with them. They are lightweight and comfortable due to the light plastic frame and cushy memory foam. I wear them for 8-10 hours a day, and they remain mostly comfortable the whole time. You may have to readjust a bit to extend that comfort, but overall quite easy to wear.
Though the function button is a bit gimmicky, I found it to be useful as I could map it to the pause/play button so when away from my desk I could still control my music/media. Having the scrolling volume is nice too for rapid volume changed.
I appreciate as well that the mic retracts, and at the same time mutes itself, which meant I didn't have to keep the function button mapped to mute.
They always last me more than a full day on a charge, and if you can get the transceiver up high enough, you get decent range. Even with walls in the way, I was able to travel a room or two from my office and still get good audio.
Minor Gripes: they are a bit noisy when you shift them around. Being as lightweight as they are, they aren't as sturdy, so the plastic creaks a bit.
They also feel a little flimsy in some areas, though considering they are completely made of plastic and meant to be lightweight, it's a decent trade-off.
They are also a little bulky to accommodate the drivers and battery, but most wireless headphones aren't going to be super slim.
Overall they are an easy recommend, though I haven't taken full use of them. I don't really use the 7.1 surround sound, or the equalizer that comes with the free Logitech G software, but I like that they exist.
