Unsurprisingly, another INCREDIBLE product from ANKER
    5 out of 5 stars
Unsurprisingly, another INCREDIBLE product from ANKER
I wanted these earbuds the day they came out. I finally bought a couple of pairs of them towards the end of last year. They're everything I expected them to be and more. I have never once been disappointed with any Anker products. I am a huge supporter of their gear and I am confident in saying that'll never change. These "truly wireless" earbuds blew me out of the water. First and foremost is the fit - this is the only style of earbud that ever worked for me. I could never get the original apple headphones and any other that style to properly seat and stay in my ears. With the 5 or 6 different-sized silicone tips, you're definitely going to find a set that works for you. These are very comfortable and they stay in. I basically wear at least one all day long and, oftentimes, forget it's there. Second - the sound. In regards to volume, you will not be disappointed. I watch LOT of TV Shows & movies and listen to just as many audiobooks. Never once have I thought to myself - I wish these were louder. The maximum volume coupled with the CVC 8.0 Noise Reduction is a home run. You'll have no trouble hearing what you're trying to when you use these earbuds. Third - battery life. As I mentioned before, I basically wear at least one of these all day and I have yet to have an earbud die on me. The battery life is outstanding. The case is slim and fits (very easily) into my pocket all day. It's great because I know it keeps my earbuds charged for whenever I need them. Fourth - Controls. I personally like the click-button on earbuds. I hate the touch style because I never know if I'm pushing hard enough or if I messed up and accidentally clicked too many times or not enough. The click-buttons on these aren't difficult to push but you're aware when you do it. I have no problems with pushing the button(s) and the earbuds getting pushed into my ears. If this ever happens, it's not bothersome by any means nor would I let this (possible?) minor setback dictate whether or not I purchased these earbuds. Fifth - single earbud use. One thing I specifically looked for when researching truly wireless earbuds is the ability to use each earbud individually. There's only a "master" earbud with these when you initially pair them. After they're paired for the first time, you can use either the left or right earbud by itself. Lastly and most importantly - Anker's customer service. I've only ever had to use Anker's warranty once or twice in the past with charging cables and every time I'm blown away. Anker's customer service is an industry leader BY A LONG SHOT. They respond to your inquiries in a timely manner, get right to the problem and address your concerns, and remedy the issues immediately. Even if I hated Anker's products, for their customer service alone, I would still continue to purchase their items. Here's an example - recently I had a pair of these Life P2's and, for whatever reason, they stopped pairing. I reset them a few times and followed instructions to a 'T' but to no avail. I contacted Anker's customer service and was quickly taken care of by Quinn. Within a week I had a new, replacement set of SoundCore Life P2's in my mailbox. I could not be happier with all of their products and their customer service. Do NOT hesitate to buy these. You will not be disappointed -- and, even if you are -- Anker's Customer Service won't quit until you're absolutely satisfied.

While i have had Anker Soundcore LifeP2 for about month, I will only speak to how these earbuds have performed thus far. For the month I have had these, I will say this is the best quality earbuds I have had. If Anker charged me $170 for these buds, I would've shelled out the money regardless. Thats how good a product this is. Again Im not much for the idea of something fitting in your budget, because if its important you'll spend what you think its good for you and you want the buds to perform at its best and purest form for at least beyond the length of its warranty. Anker has always made a sound quality product and have set the price for its products that makes it affordable for most if not all.

What i love most about the Life P2 is its versatility. I have used these ear buds to make calls through my Iphone, which i never really did with previous earbuds Ive had because the mic quality on most is garbage, and the ability to hear whoever is on the other line is distant meaning that from an audio perspective the acoustics for voice speaking wasn't adequate and they'd only be good for music.

The Life P2 is good on all fronts. Crisp sound to hear, and clarity to speak.

Ive used the Life P2 for Zoom calls and people have said that my voice is more clear and better than the internal mics that are used the MacBook Airs.

The Life P2 is actually a really solid pair of earbuds for physical activity use & workouts. Since COVID-19 Ive done personal workouts with my Trainer using the P2's via Zoom outdoors and have been able to hear and speak with clarity. That says a lot for me because when you're outside ambient noises distort and distract but no issues there. Their noise cancellation isn't stellar but for me i think its more than adequate for myself and does the needful.

So i feel like Ive put the Life P2 to the test in accordance to my usage-lifestyle.

I will say that the only drawback is the distance. How far away can i move with the earbuds away from my cell before it cuts out. I have noticed that sparingly when my phone is connected and i'm listening to music the earbuds cut out sightly, but it doesn't bother me as much as long as it doesn't shut down automatically or pop on inadvertently like other earbuds i've purchased in the past.

Button Usage - a little sensitive but very responsive and easy to use which is a plus for me

Comfort - Ive found them to be very comfortable. Ive had them on for more than an hour riding my bicycle and have also had them on during my runs. Only a few times do i adjust not from discomfort but because i sometimes feel like it maybe loose. This could be a negative but nothing i don't always do to assure the earbuds are secured in my ears.

Battery Life and Charge - This is a big win for me, Ive said in my previous review of another earbud i purchased regrettably. You cant really give any review or consider a product quality when you cant get a legitimate charge to your earbuds. I don't care how fancy it looks or is built. No charge or issues charging the earbuds is non-starter automatic 1 star product in my opinion. Life P2 blows away the competition. They secure in the case They offer a legitimate charge, and when you automatically remove the buds from the case and add to your ear it tell you if the charge is high or low or will die out. This is a great feature to have. The case gives a solid quick charge in 15 mins for at least an hour. And you get a solid 2 hrs+ on your buds which is huge. It's a legitimate 2+ hrs. I think its more cause i haven't been in a situation that warrants keeping the buds for that long a period but knowing that is a bonus.

Sound Quality- Best in the business as far as Im concerned. Solid on the lows/mids and bass has the kind of punch i like to hear when Im zoning.
Im sure people will lean on Beats or Earpods, SkullCandy or Jabras but Life P2 can run with the big dogs no question here.

Overall- This is as a good an earbuds as i have seen or listened with and it blows my mind how much i spent for these. i have already gotten my moneys worth on these earbuds. You will not be disappointed with these earbuds if you get them. These are a great all-purpose earbuds that will work to accommodate all aspects of your lifestyle and still provide a quality brand and feel your looking for especially if image/look is your thing.

I wanted to share my experience with the Soundcore Life P2 Total-Wireles Headphones. First of all, my overall rating of these would have to be a **4 out of 5 stars**. I will explain why I gave them 4 out of 5 a little later on.

Let me start off with saying that I am a big Apple Fan. I had the Gen 1 Apple AirPods before getting the Life P2. I know there are a lot of reviews out there that like to compare the AirPods to these (Looking at Amazon). Here is what I've tested them with:

      iPhone 11
      Mid 2012 MacBook Pro

      **iPhone 11**
While reading reviews before deciding to buy these earbuds, I saw a few that said they do not work with the iPhone 11. I can say they do, since the iPhone 11 is the primary device I use the Life P2 with.

      **MacBook Pro**
I've connected the Life P2 to my Mid 2012 MacBook Pro. They had no problem connecting to the MacBook Pro. I did try using them with a phone call and a Zoom Meeting, but I could not get the mic to work. I ended up using the built in mic with the computer and the sound through the earbuds. I tried to go into the settings and turn the mic volume in up all the way, but the person on the other end could not hear me. I've read some reviews that mention the same problem.

      **Battery**
I am a web application developer and I like to listen to music while developing. It is important that my headphones can last. My Gen 1 Apple AirPods would not last, I had to keep switching earbuds throughout my day. The Soundcore Life P2 last my entire day. Typically I pop them in my ear(s) around 5am when my day starts, take them out at lunch and then they are back in my ear(s) until I go home. Typically I have to charge my case about every week to week and a half. I have not used them until they die, but I do check the battery level all the time on my phone, and am always surprised at the level. They truly have a 7 hour battery life.

I typically take a walk in the morning and will talk to family members on the phone while walking. My walk typically lasts anywhere between 45min to an hour. When I get back, the battery level is still at about 99%. With my Gen 1 AirPods, after a hour long phone call, they are usually around 70-80%.

      **Sound**
The Sound on these are awesome. For the price they can't be beat. They have great range and bass. I usually listen at a decent level. My iPhone tells me when I am listing to something too loud so they are about medium volume. I don't have to struggle to hear the music, overall comfort listening level.

Here is where I deducted 1/2 a star. The Life P2 comes with 5 rubber ear tips, they range in size from XS to XL. I have tried all of them and settled on the L that came on the earbuds originally. They are the ones that stay in my ear best, and provide the best sound. My issue is that all of these tips fit great at first, but when they start to warm up, they slide out of my ear. They have not fallen out of my ear yet, but they slide out just enough that the bass drops out. I had to constantly push them back in my ear. During my walk I would have to push them back in about every 2-3 minutes. This became very annoying and irritating.

I did contact customer support and they sent me out 2 pairs of foam tips. I was told they were XXS and XXL, as they were the only ones they had in stock to send to me. I did get the XXS and they actually fell out of my ears. Where are supposed to be the XXL tips I think are actually the Large (maybe medium). They do work the best and it takes longer for them to slide out of my ear, but they still do. I find myself pushing them in my ear during my walks about every 15 minutes).

      **Call Quality / Noise cancelation**
I have no problem hearing the person on the other side, and I've asked the receiver how I sound, they have all said that I sound just fine. No sound distortion or anything. They do a pretty good job canceling out the background noise. I've only had once instance that the ear buds pick up the background noise instead of me. That is when I walk past a house that always have dogs barking. I have to wait until I pass that house before the other person can hear me. The ear buds actually picked up the dogs, and canceled me out.

There are times the ear buds tend to go in and out during phone calls. This only happens during phone calls and not listening to music. There are some times that it sounds like someone is turning the volume up and down, both speaker and mic. The other person says it sounds like the same thing. Someone is turning the sound off and on. This happens about 1 in 10 phone calls (I took 1/2 a start for this). I've had another Bluetooth headset that did this too, but a lot more. Hopefully this is just a software glitch and can be resolved with a update (but I am not sure one which end ... the phone ... or the ear buds). It will usually resolve itself in about a minute or two, or I can go in and redirect the audio back to my phone, and then back to the ear buds to resolve it (typically).

      **YouTube / Games / Lag**
While researching the ear buds I found a few reviews that said there was a considerable amount of lag when watching YouTube videos and playing games. I have not found this to be an issue. I've watched plenty of YouTube videos and the mouth and sound match up. Maybe a YouTube glitch at the time?? As for the games, I play Call of Duty Mobile on my phone and have no issues. In fact, I typically only play with the earbuds as they help me hear the people trying to sneak up behind me.

      **Pros and Cons**
      *Pros*
      - 7+ hour battery life
      - 40+ hour battery life with the case
      - Passive noise cancelation
      - Fits snug and close to your cheek
      - Great Sound
      - Ear tips help cut down outside noise

      *Cons*
      - The case is a little bulky when in your pocket, but that would reduce the battery life of the case if it was smaller
      - The ear tips don't fit that well (for me) and tend to loose sound quality when they have "slid" partially out
      - No Active Noise cancelation
      - No in ear detection to pause the music when the ear bud is taken out of the ear
      - Pressing just the button on the ear bud causes the bud to be pushed into the ear which causes pain

      **Overall**
I still would recommend these Bluetooth ear buds to everyone. I do enjoy them a lot, and think they are a steal at $49 (What I paid for them on Amazon). If the rubber tips that come with them don't work for you, I would suggest some foam tip ones.

5.0 out of 5 stars AMMAAAZZZINNNGG!

      Cons:
The button on the buds, you can't press it when the bud is in your ear.
The case is a bit too big for pockets (but provides soooper battery backup).
If you have both the earbuds connected then only the right mic works.

      Why you should buy it?
      1. Sturdiness - these are super duper sturdy, mine have fallen more then 50 times from about a 6 ft height and nothing happened.
      2. Really Waterproof - I've dropped these in buckets and to my surprise, even the playback doesn't pause!
      3. Both buds work independently, i.e. even if one of your buds has lost all its charge, you can use the other bud for anything (calls, music, etc.)
      4. Value for money - Undoubtedly!
      5. Speaker - Well to a normal ear, these do the job, they are pretty loud and very clear.
      6. Mic - The mic is super sensitive, if someone honks near you for sure the other party will go deaf! :P

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Headphones I Have Bought at this Price Point
Reviewed in Canada on February 19, 2020
I came across these Soundcores searching for budget wireless earbuds for daily and sport-related use; I was stumped by my low budget and my need for a high quality product. When I came across Anker's extensive line of headphones, I was skeptical; that is, until I saw their reviews and responses to criticisms. It's clear that they know what they're doing there, and combined with the glowing reviews all over the Internet on tech sites and Youtube channels, it's clear that they know how to make good headphones too. I bought these about a week ago, and using them has changed how I experience my music and podcasts on my 3 hours of total commuting. They also stay in your ear when you are running, and the charging case is light, yet high quality like the headphones themselves. The sound quality will obviously never rival more expensive earbuds, but at this price point, I expected much less, and was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this to anyone in search of true wireless earbuds without truly breaking your bank account, while still having an obsessive need for high quality.
      Pros:
      - Cheap and cheerful is this headphone's calling card
      - Listening to a lot of R&B, hip hop, and basketball podcasts, I find that these headphones can produce high quality sound for all 3 genres
      - Despite not being an Apple product, they work seamlessly with my iPhone 8 and the buttons have very little lag between the press and the response on the device
      - The build quality is really great, the plastics used are smooth and look a lot more expensive than they are
      - Again, $60 for headphones like these is just incredible. Truly wireless, B+ sound quality, and long battery life would have led me to believe the cost was closer to $100, and yet it is actually still possible to find bargain buys that don't actually suck and are even high quality products overall, not just for the price point
      Cons:
      - If you need bass like fish need water, you'll feel like something's missing when you expect big and thunderous kicks
      - The headphones will really only last the claimed battery life if you listen at about half-volume, and so I will never reach a full battery life. However, the charging case is light and portable, and charges them fully and quickly repeatedly
