    Product Description

Hisense continues its tradition of bringing affordable televisions with the latest technologies to the masses in the U6H series. In 2021, the U6G series made Quantum Dot Wide Color Gamut more accessible to the masses. In 2022, the U6H series expands on picture quality and audio upgrades and makes the transition to the Google TV operating system. The U6H series adds HDR10+ Adaptive and Dolby Vision IQ to its already long list of supported HDR formats. These technologies incorporate environment lighting considerations to their HDR interpretations making HDR more accurate given how dark or bright the lighting within the room. Game Mode gets an upgrade to Game Mode Plus and adds variable refresh rate at 60Hz for smoother gaming on next generation game consoles. With Wisa ready software, the U6H is now equipped to connect to the latest Wisa compatible speakers for a complete surround sound experience without the need for running speaker wire throughout the room. Creating even more robust audio and visual experiences without price gouging the consumer, the 2022 U6 series continues to be the Hisense television that’s great for everyone.

this product is great for the price. I wished it was cheaper tho! haha. but let me tell you my experience about it. first of all the packaging was ok. it was easy to install. you need to screw two metal stands to the TV. the stands looks stable and firm. then you have to plug it in and that's it. it was easy and anyone can do it. specially it is light weight and can be handled by one person. during the setup you have to connect to wifi. the wifi search and finding it was really fast and easy. and then few steps to connect your gmail account to the TV and finally if you have accounts on Netflix Hulu and other channels you will enter your creditionals and it will be finalized. these steps are also really easy and fast. now it's time to go and see how is the screen quality. the screen is 4k and with this budget is one of the best options available. it uses quantum dot technology which helps you have wider range of colors. the Variable refresh rate has been improved and this option would be more pleasant if you are a person like me who plays video games a lot to be more smooth. the contrast ratio in this TV is one of my facorite aspects which is pretty great. this TV has a great quality in watching movies and shows. it can well handle reflections if you have a home which gets lots of light during the day like me. but keep in mind you cannot put the TV in front of a window that has direct light and expect this TV doesnt show the reflections!!! it can handle well lit room. next thing that might be important is sometimes you want to watch a movie from your collection and it has low quality like 480p. I tried it and surprisingly it upscaled it very well. the quality of 720 and 1080 upscaling is great which I expect every 4k TV do that but upscaling 480p is not easy I believe and I loved how it does. the borders are 1 cm and I consider it thin and I like as it is and the overall thickness is also around 8cm which I believe it is great for this price. the last thing that I forgot to tell is the quality of remote control, the buttons are really smooth and soft. it works from distance and it responds to your commands really fast. overall I liked it. maybe if I want to mention its disadvantage with this price would be I would expect them to add HDMI 2.1 compared to U6G so the refresh rate could increase more but still its not noticeable. again with the money you are paying you cant expect it includes everything.

I received a TV damaged where something under the screen was causing something to die out and it started out as two tiny dots and was very slowly over time growing. Had to return it got to replacement same day. The return was picked up. The return was fine. The replacement even more damaged out of the box than the one I sent back. The whole right side of the top and bottom of the screen look like somebody under the layer of plastic that covers the front of the screen. The screen looks pushed in in the top right and bottom right corner called heisen customer service and they said not their problem. You voided your warranty by opening the box. I was extremely careful when I open this box. Extremely delicate with this TV and right after I opened it I saw the damage and went to plug it in to make sure that it wasn't. My eyes just fooling me and I saw that it was damaged immediately called Amazon and they said they can't do anything till the 9th of the following month which means I have to live with this TV for almost an entire month. Broken worse than the last one. That's whatever if you don't have something in stock that's not really their fault. But then I called heisen to see if there was anything they could do and they told me voided warranty without even looking at the TV without even seeing what was wrong with it. Just me slightly describing it to her. She just immediately said voided warranty. I haven't even had this TV an hour and the warranties already voided due to manufacturing errors because clearly this was not done during shipping because then the screen itself, the plastic part or the TV bezel would also be damaged. This is explicitly to the screen underneath everything. There's no scratches on the TV. There's no dense dings. Nothing. It looks pristine outside of this specific damage. Clearly this happened during manufacturing just like with the last one and she just keeps telling me voided warranty because it left their warehouse. Therefore it's no longer their responsibility. Then I asked to speak to a supervisor to see if there was nothing else that could be done because why should I have to accept a broken TV that doesn't make sense and after over a half an hour of being on hold. No one's available. Go away. Leave us alone. You're warranty has been voided because you open the box and you install the TV yourself. The TV warranty has been voided literally. She told me because I hooked up the TV that voided the warranty. I am not joking. That's what she told me. She told me because UPS delivered it to me that also voided the warranty. I am not joking. This is ridiculous. Don't buy from a company's that support that level of disgustingness towards their customers. This is the first time I'm trying this company and this has been the worst experience ever. Two TVs broken from manufacturing because right out the box they were broken in different ways and I was extremely extremely delicate, careful and used every bit of cushioning and foam that I could to gently put the TV together and both of them were broken and this one even worse and even better in the top right corner because of how the screen has been pushed in anything that that's a specific shape that goes into that corner gets warped. How is this? Not a manufacturing issue that happened during manufacturing. These TVs come packed so well. You can't say that happened during shipping, especially considering Amazon marked the replacement as handle with care. So unless people were tossing around a 65-in TV, which that does not make sense, this is absolutely a manufacturing problem and and the company that makes the product should want to know what went wrong. Shouldn't just be like sucks to be you go away. You installed the TV. Someone else delivered it. That wasn't us by the way. They don't have a way to deliver from themselves. Everything has to go to something like UPS so they're using every excuse in the book to claim. I voided the warranty. The TV is 1 hour old and it was damaged from the minute I pulled the box off of it.

Edit... After getting the tech support from Hisense they told me that a TV coming damaged and have the screen under the plastic layer there for warping the image on the top right corner as well as making so the top right corner does not go to fill brightness and you can see a semi-circle of dim from top right corner to bottom right corner is cosmetic and voids warranty somehow? Great company further update, The warranty is voided. The minute the TV leaves the factory because according to heisen if anyone touches the TV that doesn't work for heisen the TV's automatically voided warranty if you set it up. Warranty is voided if it gets shipped to you and the person that brought it to you was not working for heisen the warranty is voided. It doesn't matter how badly the TV's damaged or if the right side does not go to full brightness. Apparently that equals cosmetic I don't know how a TV not functioning as intended is cosmetic but according to them it is and according to them because they didn't set it up and they didn't deliver it to me that voids all warranty and yes, that's what was told to me by their customer service supervisor and tech support

I wasn't sure how I'd like this Google TV, as I've generally leaned toward Amazon's Alexa.  I was intrigued by the features and price, so decided try it.  All I can say is WOW.

Packaging was great - opened it up, and legs are right in the Styrofoam top padding, so you can't miss them!  Got help pulling it out of the box.  Couple screws to attach the legs, and it was ready to set up!  Will eventually mount on the wall, but wanted to make sure I liked it better than the Vizio I'm replacing.  Based on what I've seen the last few days, it'll get mounted this week!

I wasn't sure what to expect for a "Google Smart TV".  I was absolutely surprised how easy this was to set up.  After powering it up, it walks you through step by step.  You connect it to your Google Home app (which I had to install).  It allows you to update settings on TV using your phone, or even use it as a remote.  Nice features and handy to have! It took longer to get set up compared to a Roku or Amazon device, but overall was smoother and more "complete". The other apps have you up and running quicker, but then you need to go into settings and add the apps. There's still some of that with this, but it covers the major subscription apps in bulk, so overall it saves time over the other systems. Like many other SmartTV's, logging into services can be done via phone or password.

What really impressed me was the Google TV features. I enabled Google access to the TV itself as prompted during the setup and trained it, speaking various sentences as prompted. Now I can say "Hey Google, power on", and the TV powers on.  Other commands work as well = "Open Netflix", or "Play Survivor on Paramount".  Of course volume control works too!  I really like that this is built into the TV - no need to use the remote or hold buttons.  I did find this seems to go to sleep, but I'm sure it's a setting to keep it active at all times.

As for TV itself, I love it!  Colors are vivid, bright, and clear.  There are plenty of HDMI ports, and they're clearly labeled.  Setup features for the TV itself are very easy to navigate. Loved the default picture, though in a darkened room was just a tad too bright.  Adjusting the picture is crazy simple - between the included 'modes', and the custom controls that can be applied to each, you can easily adjust for any lighting condition.  I'm impressed with the QLED display!

Sound quality also impressed me for this price point model. I've had to get sound bars for other TV's due to 'tinny' sound, but this has clear sound, and it's more than adequate for our room.

Overall, I'm really pleased with this 55" Smart TV!  Easy setup, fantastic picture, great features and sound, and all at a great price. I can highly recommend!
