Good product and a nice toy.
Pretty challenging to setup. Have to do a lot of "trial and error". The navigation seems to be easy if you had some experience with a previous version. The temperature appears to be missing. I know it is not exact outdoors when exposed to sun. but i's a nice feature for indoor training. The gradient is tricky. First you have to upload an app and then install it in the device via cell phone. Have not been able to figure out the optimum gradient setting. I like the blue tooth link with my cell phone. however you have to carry the phone in one of your side pockets. The middle one does not work because of the belly mass. if you are skinnier than me it could work. Make sure you don't accidently stop the Ride when on coffee break taking the computer with you, Otherwise you have two rides that day.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Just what I was looking for.

This is awesome if you love to cycle
Got this as a refurbished and finally made sense to me price wise. I don't even use the maps because I live in a rural area. The features are fun to use because they function so easily. Quick connections, accurate readings, great screen customization. I really only need the speed, miles, time etc and it's worth it. The maps are it's whole selling point with frequent updates and easy display. If you have never tried a garmin and are wondering I would give it a try. Replacement
This was a replacement for an Edge Explore that was dropped and screen broke. It was easy to set up since I was already using Garmin Connect app. This does everything I need (and more). Great up the mountain navigation
Simple, precise, convenient....using the Edge Explorer for mountain biking. Screen a bit small, but interface with cell phone gives great "where art thou" accuracy. Screen set up a breeze, watching online instructions first makes it super simple. Mountain bikers dont need all the watt, just looking for the where.

Good for the price-No temp and the battery isn't great.
Seems to work well, but there is no temp readout, which I didn't know. Also, the battery DOES NOT last 12 hours. It's 4 hours at best. I have used it for several long rides and that battery drains pretty quick.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
