As promised in our last post, we have 2 new ads from Sam's Club for you to check out. First is the 42-page November Instant Savings book. This is Sam's Club's traditional monthly sale ad and runs from November 1st through the 22nd.
Next is the 6-page November Doorbusters ad. This is a 3-day sale which runs from Friday, November 3rd through Sunday, November 5th. While this sale is both online and in clubs, there are some deals labeled in-club or online-only.
Unfortunately there are no Black Friday deals in this book this year. Sam's Club states that their Black Friday sale runs from November 23rd through the 26th. We're hopeful that they will post an online preview of their Black Friday sale at some point before the sale starts, and should that happen we'll be sure to post it here.
Today marks the one month mark in the countdown to Black Friday. It's still early but so far this year we're seeing fewer Black Friday announcements and ads than previous years. We only have one ad posted although we at least have some firm dates for several retailers' Black Friday sales.
Unfortunately, retailers are moving away from physical ads, and in some cases away from digital versions of ads as well. Last year stores such as Walmart and Best Buy just posted deals on their site instead of having a traditional ad layout, whether that be paper or digital. Expect more of that this year for better or worse.

Sam's Club has revealed the schedule of sales for what they are calling "Savings Season". The deals kick off November 1st with their monthly Instant Savings which run through the 22nd. From November 3rd through the 5th they will have 3-day "November Doorbusters" in store and online.
Thanksgiving Day (November 23rd) starts their popular annual Black Friday "Thanks-Savings" Sale which will take place through the Sunday the 26th, followed by a 2-day Cyber Monday sale on the 27th and 28th of November.
November 29th through December 26th will see another Instant Savings sale. There will be a 3-day "December Doorbusters" sale on December 1st through the 3rd. Expect the Sam's Club holiday catalog to be posted here on the site in the next day.
Macy's has updated their Black Friday landing page with details about their Black Friday sale schedule for this year. You'll be able to start shopping select Black Friday deals from Macy's on Friday, November 10th and deals will be added through November 18th. The landing page also has a preview of some of the upcoming deals.
Macy's full Black Friday sale will begin on Sunday, November 19th and will run for a full week. Macy's stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day once again this year. We expect to have the actual Macy's Black Friday ad posted here on the site in the next week or so. Sign up for our alert mailing list so you won't miss any ads this year.
Time for the first Black Friday ad of the year! We've just posted the Black Friday ad for Costco for you to check out. View the 32-page ad here and start making out your list.
As always, Costco includes their Black Friday sale as part of a bigger Holiday Savings book. When viewing the ad, note that page 23 features online-only Thanksgiving Day deals and the Black Friday weekend deals start on page 24.
The beginning of this ad features additional sets of deals valid October 30th through November 12th, as well as November 13th through the 27th. Page 31 features online-only Cyber Monday deals. Costco will once again be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Both Walmart and Kohl's issued press releases this week discussing their holiday plans, however neither provided much information about their plans for Black Friday, so the wait for concrete dates and their sale strategies continues.
Walmart's press release focused on their claim that they have saved their customers "more than $1 billion on seasonal baskets and Rollbacks, from Thanksgiving to Easter to the back-to-school season." Walmart says they will also fight inflation with reduced prices on Thanksgiving meal essentials.
Kohl's talked about their exclusive offerings including Sephora at Kohl's and the main exclusive toys they'll be carrying this year along with an expanded assortment of home decor. The press release does mention that the Black Friday Early Access event returns in early November and we're predicting Friday, November 3rd for this one-day sale.
Best Buy has announced their Black Friday and Cyber Monday plans for this year. First of all, Best Buy will have a 3-day Black Friday Early Access sale for My Best Buy Plus and Total members from Friday, October 27th through Sunday the 29th.
Best Buy will then have early Black Friday deals for everyone starting on Monday, October 30th. This sale will contain a selection of deals from their sale. Their full Black Friday sale runs from Friday, November 17th through the 25th with their Cyber Monday sale starting the following day on Sunday, November 26th.
We have just posted the 12-page Costco November Member-Only Savings Ad for you to check out. The deals in this book begin on Wednesday, October 25th and are available through Sunday, November 19th in Costco stores and on Costco.com.
Based on previous years, we expect to have Costco's Black Friday ad which is traditionally part of their Holiday Savings book at some point in the next week so stay tuned for that and sign up for alerts so you won't miss any ads this year.
We have just posted the 42-page Macy's x Toys R Us Toy Catalog for you to check out. As with most toy catalogs this year there are no prices, but each toy has a WebID that you can search for on Macys.com to get current pricing for the toys in the catalog.
The second page of the catalog has an offer for a Holiday Elmo plush available for $10 with any $50 toy purchase. Don't forget that Macy's offers free shipping on orders of $25 or more for Macy's Star Rewards members, which is free to sign up for.

Another day, another toy catalog! We've just added Meijer's 2023 Holiday Toy Guide catalog to the site. Check out the 36-page ad scan. As with other toy catalogs, there are no prices listed as Meijer wants you to visit their site to get the latest pricing.
Meijer is offering free home delivery when you spend $50 or more on toys this year, and you'll also get 5,000 mPerks rewards points (worth $5) for every $50 you spend on toys from October 15th through the 28th. Limit 10,000 bonus points per customer.
For those of you who didn't get one in the mail this week, we have just posted the 64-page Walmart "Top of the List" Holiday Toy Catalog on the site. You can check out all of the toy catalogs we've posted so far on this page. We expect a few more in the coming weeks.
As is becoming the trend for many of these catalogs, there are no prices listed. Instead Walmart advises you to visit their toy section on Walmart.com where you'll find all of the toys in the catalog available for ordering.
Sam's Club has released their Holiday Gift Guide full of hundreds of unique gift ideas for everyone on your list. There are sections for various price ranges, as well as recipient type and kids' ages. There are also great suggestions for holiday hosting, decorating and entertaining including food and drinks.
Through October 15th, Sam's Club is offering huge discounts on memberships. Get a year of their standard Club membership for $15 (normally $50) or get a year of their very valuable Plus membership for $55 (normally $110). Valid for new members or those who were members more than 6 months ago.

Farm & Fleet's Toyland sale starts on Saturday, October 14th and will run for a little over 3 weeks until November 5th. They are giving away a free Spot It! game on Saturday the 14th and Rewards members get a free $5 gift card with every $50 toy purchase.
This morning Kohl's announced that they will have a 3-day Deal Dash sale starting Monday, October 9th to compete with Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days. The sale will run through Wednesday, October 11th.
Kohl's says the sale will include thousands of deals on toys, apparel, home and more. In addition to a 15% off coupon, there will be a stackable $10 off $50 coupon, $10 in Kohl's Cash with every $50 spent and free shipping on all orders with no minimum purchase.
Kohl's Rewards members will also be able to stack $10 off $50 in home and $10 off $50 in toys and novelty gifts in addition to the other discounts, which could lead to some pretty nice deals during the sale.
Add Sam's Club to the list of retailers that will be competing with Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days next week with their own sale. Sam's Club will be having a 3-day Super Savings sale from Tuesday through Thursday and have released a preview of some of the deals.
Also, Sam's Club will be starting Daily Flash Savings on Friday. Every day you'll be able to find online-only offers starting at midnight ET. Plus members will get 2 hours of early access to these deals starting at 10pm ET the night before.
Target unveiled their Bullseye's Top Toys List this morning via a press release. The list contains Target exclusives as well as dozens of toys from top brands such as Pokemon, Marvel, LEGO, Baby Alive, FAO Schwarz, Fisher-Price, Melissa & Doug and more. View the full list here.
Target says this is their most affordable Top Toys List and that initiative expands beyond the list with thousands of trendy toys and games available for under $25 this year. Target also has a Disney100 Retro Reimagined collection to check out.

Macy's has teamed up with Toys R Us once again to release Geoffrey's Hot Toy List. This list features their picks for the hottest toys for the 2023 holiday shopping season. You can check out this page on the Macy's site to check out the full list and purchase nearly all of these toys right now.
The list features toys from popular brands such as Hot Wheels, Barbie, Marvel, Sharper Image and more. Macy's and Toys R Us continue their partnership this year and you should continue to see Toys R Us branded toy areas in all Macy's stores.
This morning Amazon took the wraps off quite a few new smart devices. Many of these devices will be discounted during Amazon's upcoming Prime Big Deal Days, Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.
Among these new devices is the all-new Echo Show 8 with edge-to-edge glass, a built-in smart home hub and improved audio with spatial audio. The new Echo Hub is a smart home control panel with an 8" display that works with over 140,000 connected devices. The new generation Fire TV Stick Max features WiFi 6E and a new Ambient Experience to turn your TV into a smart display with over 2,000 pieces of artwork.
The new Fire TV Soundbar featured Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X. Amazon also unveiled the Echo Pop Kids smart speaker, the 3rd generation Echo Show 5, the 3rd generation Echo Frames and new Ring cameras. Learn about all the new products announced today on this dedicated page.
Best Buy is kicking off their holiday sales on October 1st this year and have announced several promotions taking place during October. The entire month will be Member Exclusive Month with exclusive deals for Plus and Total members. Members who spend $500 during October will get a $50 reward to use in December.
Best Buy states that Plus and Total members will also get early access to Best Buy's Black Friday deals from October 27th through the 29th, which likely means Best Buy will open up Black Friday deals to non-members on October 30th this year.
Best Buy will also have a 2-day flash sale on October 10th and 11th to compete with Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days. Also look for special Microsoft, Samsung and gaming sales taking place during October. Get the details in Best Buy's announcement.
Walmart has announced that they will have a 4-day Holiday Kickoff Sale starting at 7pm ET on Monday, October 9th and running through Thursday the 12th. The sale is obviously meant to compete with Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days which takes place on the 10th and 11th of October.
Walmart has given a sneak peek of some of the deals that will be available including the Apple Watch SE 1st Gen for $149, the Sony 75" X90K 4K TV for $998, the Mega Barbie The Movie Dreamhouse for $139 and Crocs Crocband Clogs for $29.99.
Target issued a press release this morning with several announcements about their upcoming Q4 and holiday plans. First, Target will have another Target Circle Week sale from Sunday October 1st through Saturday the 7th with savings of up to 40% for Target Circle members.
Target also says that they will bring back their Deal of the Day program on October 1st with deep daily discounts exclusively for Circle members. Kohl's kicked off the holiday season this morning by revealing their Top 20 Toys list, all of which are already available in Kohl's stores and on Kohls.com. Brands included are Squishmallows, Barbie, Hot Wheels, Pokemon, Magic Mixes and more.
Kohl's also announced that they are bringing back Bricktober on October 1st. You'll find weekly deals on select LEGO sets and a free LEGO gift when you spend $30 or more on LEGO sets in store only.
