Once again this year we're expecting even more sales in October and early November as retailers will once again have less than a month between Thanksgiving and Christmas and will want to capture as many early sales as possible.
Today marks the 100 day milestone in the countdown to Black Friday 2026. We know that the actual day of Black Friday continues to be less and less important each year as retailers turn the entire month of November into one long series of sales. Nevertheless it should be an interesting year for deals and sales.
If you'd like to start discussing what Black Friday and holiday shopping might look like this year, our Black Friday message board is already open. We're discussing our thoughts on what the deals will look like and much more. You can also join is on our Discord server for even more chatting.
Today marks the halfway point of the countdown to Black Friday 2026. We're exactly 6 months away from November 27th which is the date Black Friday falls on this year (which is the third-latest possible date).
Of course Black Friday itself has become much less important in recent years as sales are starting earlier and are spread over a longer period. We'll be be "officially" starting our Black Friday and holiday shopping coverage in the fall but we'll continue to post any relevant updates here in the meantime.
