Most of the major Black Friday sales will be starting
in the next week! To help you keep track of them all we created a
simple, easy-to-follow schedule which you can check out
here. This page has a list of tentative start times for all the
online Black Friday sales from your favorite retailers including online-only retailers.
You can change the time zone to show times for your particular area as well. We'll be adding more sales to the schedule as we learn about their start times. Many of you have been asking about our previous sale tracker which we expect to bring back next year, but we feel this is a good substitute until the new tracker is ready.

We're slowly getting into the busier part of Deal Season. We're expecting to post more Black Friday ads this week and there are some big sales happening later in the week. Sign up for our free
email newsletter to get notified of when the major sales start.
On Wednesday we're expecting
Home Depot to launch the majority of their Black Friday deals. Also on Thursday, Target's 3-day
Early Black Friday sale starts. Then on Friday (late Thursday night) we're expecting
Kohl's to drop their Black Friday ad and start their popular Black Friday Early Access sale.
Friday also starts JCPenney's
Black Friday Early Access sale as well as Best Buy's
"Black Friday Deals Right Now" sale along with their first set of weekly
Friday Doorbusters. This week we'll also get a much bigger preview of the deals in Walmart's first
Black Friday Event.

Today marks the one month mark in the countdown to Black Friday. It's still early but so far this year we're seeing fewer Black Friday announcements and ads, likely due to Black Friday falling later in the month this year. We only have a few ads posted although we at least have some firm dates for several other retailers' Black Friday sales.
Unfortunately, retailers are moving away from physical ads, and in some cases away from digital versions of ads as well. Last year stores such as Walmart and Best Buy once again just posted deals on their site instead of having a traditional ad layout, whether that be paper or digital. Expect more of that this year.

With so many different sales happening during October, November and December it can be a little overwhelming. We have several ways to stay updated with all the new ads and sales that we post:
- Sign up for our email newsletter. We'll email you about the latest sales and ads as well as the best deals we're finding throughout Q4.
- Follow the Sale & Ad Discussion forum. On this page, there will be a "Follow" button (on the top of the page if you're on a tablet/desktop and on the bottom of page if you're on a phone). You can get notified when we post new threads in this forum for each ad, sale or catalog.
- Follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and/or Threads. We'll post updates on these accounts including when we post new ads or learn about upcoming sales.
- Bookmark our Black Friday news page and check it regularly for the latest updates. This page also will have a list of ads we've posted, upcoming sales and more.
With Black Friday falling on the latest possible date this year we're expecting even more sales in October and early November as retailers will have less than 4 weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The big news today is that
Walmart announced that their stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day this year. We expect most other retailers to follow Walmart and also announce that they will close on Thanksgiving. Walmart's announcement does lead to questions about what Black Friday will look like this year. Read our thoughts
